Good golly, Miss Molly!

Lost Dog is a local gem. Great coffee, atmosphere that makes Starbucks look like McDonalds, and great snacks. Go back often to see the ever-changing art on the walls.

A great place to relax. The ambiance is one-of-a-kind in more ways than one...... I went there to read and have some coffee, and to see what kinds of folks went in there. definitely different!

The peppermint latte was OK, while the jasmine tea was great. The cookies were as hard as bricks - I wasn't sure if this was how they were meant to be, or whether it was just because it was during the holiday period. This café is very crowded - when ordering, it was hard to squeeze between other customers without... More

Then peace will guide the planets and love will steer the stars. Ok, this is the dawning of the age of Aquarius and with fresh roasted coffee and yummy bits of funky muffins, cakes and Biscotti, the the place is authentically trapped in time. Can't say I smkoe weed, but if I did, I would likely find truth and understanding.... More

I agree with the other reviewers: the latte is excellent, but there's just something a bit unwelcoming about the place. Still worth a visit, though.

I absolutely love this place! The shop is just so artistic and fun and the coffee...so delicious. I don't usually drink much caffeine but everything I have had from here has been absolutely delicious.

If you are visiting shepherdstown and don't stop in at lost dog--You will be missing out. I've been here many times over the years and have never had a bad experience. The atmosphere is incredibly creative and unique, as are the baristas and a majority of the customers who frequent this magical place. You can tell the owner is really... More

Plain coffee was fine, but one of their special concoctions (my wife ordered it, I do not believe that coffee needs improvement) was undrinkable. The pastries were stale and tasteless.

Loved the ambiance and unique drink menu selections and artwork. Iced coffee and chai tea were outstanding!

The coffee was exceptional but the surroundings were a little grubby, cracked mugs, etc. The blueberry pie was disappointing. .
