Went in and waited for about 10 minutes at the bar and the bartender was working on kegs and never bothered to even acknowledge us.

My husband and I were excited to try a real British pub. We were hoping it could become a regular for us. When we arrived, the bar was very noisy . If the food had been good, we could have tolerated that. We ordered the squash soup, which was brought to us, microwaved, warm in parts, cold in others. I... More

Spur of the moment early dinner date with the wife. Three people at the bar and us. Ordered the Cornish Pasty and Salad and the wife had the Cottage Pie. Ordered a side of fries as an app because we forgot that the apps are listed on the beer list holder rather than in the menu. Oh well. As we... More

The food & staff were wonderful. We loved the Devonshire's local ambiance in a town that caters mostly to college students and tourists. You may have to be creative to find parking or just walk a block or two, but it's worth it.

To be fair did not eat at this establishment just had drinks which were ok nothing special, staff was nice and attentive, was debating on whether to eat here but over heard staff telling another regular customer they had a new cook so chose to wait. The prices are decent and while yes this is a pub with a very... More

My wife had the fish & chips and loved it. I had the Bangers & Mash and it was good. It's nice to find a unique restaurant like this on our travels. The beer selection was good as well with English beer on tap. The waiter and bartender were very friendly. The atmosphere is so-so - a bar atmosphere -... More

Liked the temperature of the beer. Hated hearing the microwave through the thin wall at the kitchen. Hated seeing our server go outside for a smoke and not wash his hands.

This place does not have atmosphere or I would give it 5 stars. The food is excellent. I love fish and chips and the fish was perfect - crisp on the outside and the fish was moist - absolutely delicious. My husband had a quiche and it was also very good. Our friend had shepards pie type thing and he... More

Good beer selection. Very friendly and local place. The bartender and cook/chef were a bit odd but super friendly and nice. They had Animal Planet on the tv, instead of the sports we were expecting. A local bought us shots. Overall friendly and fun place.

Outstanding English fare. Entire meal was GREAT! French fires are the bomb - one whole tatter cut and fried. I will return every time I go through the area.
