We ate here our second night staying in the area, and were not disappointed. I had the glazed salmon with risotto and my husband had the pasta primavera. The ambiance is splendid, and the restaurant is in an historic brick townhouse on the main street. Upon arriving on a Saturday night, we did not need a reservation since we got... More

This on the main street of historic Shepherdstown offers good cuisine, customer service in a quaint setting. It is situated in an old down town residence and seating is a bit thighs. The wait staff know their menu, the food is provincial and authentic French. It was a good casual experience and the owner is quite personable visiting the tables.... More

We enjoyed our dinner at Bistro 112. We both had the duck which was very tasty. The restaurant was very full, so, the service was a bit slow.

Nice ambiance and good food. The price fix menu is very good value. Had the salmon - moist and tasty, house salad - really good, and the toffee pudding - yummy!. Management very attentive and accommodating. Recommend booking ahead of you want to be sure fo a table at the weekend.

We liked the atmosphere, the wine, the pate, the bread, the cheese, the french onion soup, the intimate dining area, the eclectic decor. Almost seemed like we were in a quaint little Parisian neighborhood eatery.

Bistro 112 is a small, unpretentious place on the main street in Shepherdstown. The menu is limited, but there were several specials on offer. Absolutely everything we tried (from soup and pate to fish and duck to cake) was well prepared and flavorful -- not always traditional French cuisine, but still wonderful. The wait staff are very friendly. I would... More

Had a fantastic dinner with friends at this gem of a restaurant--excellent food, superb service, and very nice ambience in a historic old-town house. Staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful, and owner made sure several times that everything was o.k. Food was really good, the best Steak-au-poivre I've had in a long, long time, and... Can get crowded and have kitchen delays. Food was over-salted this time, but past experience has been terrific.
