Top notch service!

Sunday 7/26/15, a group of my girlfriends and I hosted a bridal brunch for a friend in the back of the restaurant at their garden table. It is the most beautiful, private spot for such an event. I really wish I would have gotten our waiter's name, because he was so wonderful to us!! EXCELLENT and... read more

When we walked in, the place was incredibly noisy. The waitress seemed not to be paying attention (she never brought the second drink we ordered). My ratatouille was good. His flank steak was awful. We left as soon as we got the bill.

Had dinner with friends last night at Bistro 112. The service was excellent, as before. We got the fixed price menu, (salad, salmon with either potatoes or green beans, and the dessert (orange summer cake). Everything was very good. The dessert was actually excellent. With this, we had a bottle of average wine (not high priced), coffee, and a martini,... More

Bistro 112 was the perfect place to relax for a bit at 5pm on a hot Sunday afternoon. Like many eateries along West German Street, it is located in a restored 1830's residence, so it has quaint interior architectural details such as original fireplaces. The bar is particularly charming , in a parlor room with an antique bar, fireplace, and... More

The food was outstanding with top notch service. We both had a steak which was served with a delicious sauce. By far the best meal we had in Shephardstown.

We ate here based on a suggestion from our innkeeper. We did not have reservations being a week day. They were full but found us a small table in the bar area. They do have an outside dining area but because of the recent rain the hostess said it was muddy and they were not using it that day. We... More

This was a fabulous place to eat-well worth the one hour drive! The food and atmosphere were perfect. Shannon was wonderful and we were able to visit with the owner. Highly recommend!

We had a great meal at Bistro 112 with our little dog, who was allowed inside the restaurant. The food and service were great, and all the locals eating there talked with us -- super friendly place. Almost like you were in Mayberry.

Don't miss out on this great restaurant. Rivals any top notch DC restaraunt. We had the soup of the day (creamy rosemary chicken and mushroom) and the house salad. Soup was delicious. Salad was good but the vinagrette dressing is dijion mustard based so be sure to get it on the side. It is intense. For our main course we... More

Went with some friends for lunch; I had the Salad Nicoise which was lovely. The green beans were young and crisp tender, the tuna steak a nice pink inside, capers, eggs, very very good. My friends each had a different crepe, both of which they said were good, though the presentation was a little sloppy on the crepes.
