Excellent Restaurant

My sister and I stopped in for lunch and what a treat it was! We started with a carafe of their red wine for $20 which was really nice and perfect for two, we then had the sweet potatoe bisque which was just fabulous! Fine food. We had duck and salmon. The sides were all in balanced tastes and nicely presented. The service was outstanding. We enjoyed an unhurried hour or more over beverages, irresistible baguette, salads and entrees . Waitress was delightfully attentive. An excellent celebratory evening.

We drove 1.5 hours and 70 miles to eat here. Outstanding service (Ryan, Courtney and owner Tucker) and wonderful food! Simple yet authentic and tasty - not too rich: we loved everything but were especially appreciative of how warm, friendly and engaged the staff were. Can't wait to go back!

We ate lunch at this French restaurant on a cold afternoon and were very happy with both the food and the service. Only one woman was seating guest, taking orders and delivering food but she did it all efficiently and with a smile. It's a small restaurant so if you want dinner there, I would suggest reservations.

Very nice atmosphere and service. They need more choices on menu. Parking is not the greatest. Good soups.

We ate here one night for dinner when we stayed in Shepherdstown; it was recommended highly by our B&B owner. It was very good; the food was very well-prepared. My husband started with the grilled Caesar salad, which he was not so sure he would like; but he tried it and it was very tasty. I got a scallops special;... More

We ate lunch in this small, delightful bistro. Yummy sandwiches and frites; attentive service. Located right downtown.
