Good, solid Thai

Place was packed whenever we passed it - finally tried it for dinner and was impressed. The sushi, drunken noodles, and red curry were all excellent.

My first time at Kazu. My friend and dining partner had been many times, and raves about the food but said the service can be unpredictable. Nothing wrong with this visit. We were seated promptly in a very comfortable booth, waited on by Tra who was friendly and attentive, and even labelled our to-go boxes for us, and the food... More

My husband and I had dinner here after a recommendation from a friend. We were greeted and immediately seated, quiet initially but filling up fast by the time we left around 6:30pm on a Wednesday. Our waiter was excellent and attentive without being overbearing. Menu is extensive, both Japanese and Thai food available. We started with the spring rolls, and... More

This is the best Thai food in the area. I like Asian food my wife not so much but she loved the Chicken, Shrimp and Scallops with Cashews and String Bean Pad Prig Khing. I like the crispy Shrimp with Chili and Garlic and the Seafood Pad Thai. Serve was great. Give it a try.

Kazu serves very nice Thai food and they have a good beer selection to go with the food. Service was very good. Only downside was there's no kids menu.

Get the green beans in garlic. Seriously. Best thing on the menu. Huge portion. Fresh. Other items ok. Not great. There are a lot of really good locally sourced eateries in this town, so I don't eat at Kudzu real often.

It's so nice to know that some places, if not maintaining the same great quality, even get better. So it is with Kazu's. This is a very warm, friendly restaurant with some of the best Asian dishes around. I've been getting their Duck with Basil for years and this weekend it was even better than I remembered. And you get... More

My wife and I arrived in Shepherdstown on Sunday night, leaving the hotel we were searching for a nice place to eat. We came across Kazu and decided to stop in. The setting was romantic, with dimmed lighting, acoustic guitar playing in the background and a nice clean atmosphere. The wife ordered shrimp pad thai, which was a bountiful portion... More

A go-to place for us. Loads of vegetarian options. Green curry with vegetables is our favorite. Reasonably priced. Can be very busy on weekends. Give it a go if you are in Shepherdstown. You won't be disappointed.
