In town on business and seen all the reviews so I had to try it out. It is a small little place took me a while to find it. The lady behind the counter was helpful with me making my decision on what to get. Decided on the three tacos and queso dip to go. The tacos where huge and... More

I absolutely love Maria's Taqueria. I go to Shepherd University and there's a good number of places I can walk to for lunch in between classes, but Maria's is the only place I ever go to. I rarely ever go anywhere else in Shepherdstown. ***They have the BEST QUESO I've ever had in my life*** The food and prices are... More

We read all the good reviews on here and so we went into town to eat there. That was an incorrect assumption as it's not meant to be an eat in establishment. It's like a little mexican take-out. It has four stools with a ledge that if forced to, you could eat there. And one "table" with 2 chairs, if... More

While staying in Shepherdstown , W. VA. my wife and I were strolling the main street in town at lunchtime when we opted to grab a bite to eat. We had read on a travel brochure of a small lil restaurant named Marias that served up some wonderful dishes. So we were walking and walked past the place - but... More

Just to let you know for starters, there is only 1 regular table with 2 chairs, and 3 bar stools at a counter inside. If there is no one else in there eating, you can sit inside. Otherwise, it's better to take out. With that being said, this food is super good and reasonably priced! It's fresh and Maria is... More

After reading the glowing reviews we knew that we had to try Maria's, and we were not disappointed. We had the Hokie Bowls and it was plentiful as well as delicious better then a major chain which we frequent.

Love the fresh and saucy tacos from Maria's, the taco salad and nachos are fresh and tasty, made to order. The burrito is big enough to feed a crowd.

We got to Shepherdstown late on a Monday and at 7:30 p.m. this was the only restaurant open. And what a find. Very small place with only one table inside, a few stools inside and an outside table. Most people come for takeout. It may be small but the food is very good. Nicely seasoned with fresh ingredients. You can... More

Maria's is little, quaint, and delicious! You will indeed be full and for a very reasonable price. All the tacos and burritos are made according to your taste. They had meat choices, naturally, but if you are a vegetarian it can be done, and done well. You know, as in order something that isn't just a salad. The nachos are... More

Great food, and an awesome selection. I personally enjoy the pint of rice and beans, with everything I can possibly load into it, but thats because it's easy to shut and save a bit for later. I also suggest the pico, it is made fresh and delicious, and you can spice itup with one of the many flavors of hot... More
