Good Mexican food

I've eaten at Las Trancas many times and have always been satisfied with the food. They are very accommodating when large groups arrive together and always find a way to seat them together. My only complaint is how loud the noise is. It's hard to have a conversation in the place, due to the roar of... read more

This was our second visit to this restaurant as tourists just passing through this fair state. This second time was as good as the first. The restaurant is in a strip mall with plenty of free parking. It is deceivingly large, with lots of seating and is clean and nicely decorated. The waiters wear white shirts and ties and are... We ate at Las Trancas because the reviews on Trip Advisor and it was close to our hotel. We were seated promptly then chips and salsa followed. The chips were standard but the salsa was tasty. My husband had a combination plate which he enjoyed and the food was plentiful. I ordered a side of gac and chicken taco salad.... More

A great little place with friendly wait staff. The food is tasty and great and the portions more than adequate. It is a local chain with 4-5 locations. We've also been to the one in Marietta, OH and found it good as well. As long as it continues with good food and great service it should do well for a... More

The decor is good the food is better than cozumel's, price's are in the mid range for a family. I did love the fried ice cream foe dessert.

Nothing special here. Good food, but nothing to write home about. Good service, very attentive servers. I thought the chips were a little stale, not as fresh as I would expect from a restaurant that should make theirs from scratch. Good meal, but like I said, this place does not stand out from the crowd.
