It's pub food but not as I know it

If your down princeton way, Outback Steakhouse in the mercer mall is a must. Food is exceptional, even if there is a lot of princeton lads kicking a round, very polite, etc. Friday night it's cocktails, shrimp and steak all the way.

Traveling from NRV to Indy on a Thursday night. Stopped in Outback before traveling into the hollars of WV. Outback is a fav of ours for their great veggies, decent cuts of beef, reasonable pricing. Princeton WV Outback validated these basic offerings. She had a burger whcih was cooked per her order. My Sirlion was a bit underdone but edible.... More

Spent the night at this exit on the way home from spring break vacation. We ate here on a Saturday night. Aside from having to send the whole meal back because it was cooked incorrectly, all was well. The manage came right out and apologized and took over from there. He discounted our bill and gave free deserts. So, all... More

Stopped overnight in Princeton and decided to go to Outback. Have not been to an Outback in several years. I had the steak and lobster special. The steak was perfect. I really enjoyed it. I asked for grilled lobster rather than steamed and it was very good. Salads were also very good. I had the apple pie and ice cream... More

We stopped in on a drive home along the interstate. Great service here by a fellow named Mike. We didn't order much but the service was clearly not tip dependent as he went above expectations. Food was great as well. Nice when a place actually delivers a steak as ordered.

I was in town on business, and due to the weather (very cold, snowy), I ordered my dinner to go to eat in the hotel room. The pick up of my dinner went well. When I went to eat my dinner about an hour later, I noticed the "Cobb Salad" I had ordered was just a side salad, no egg,... More

Valentines day was very crowded but we were able to get in after about 45 minutes. The food was excellent and plenty of it. The deep fried mushrooms were a new treat and very, very good. Service was a little slow due to the crow but acceptable.

Despite that liking the chain, have not had much luck here. Service indifferent at best. Brown salad. (Yuck) Steak hot, potatoes cold and stale. Wait a long time for server to interrupt their personal conversations to notice you might want a menu....or to order. Disappointed

Two steaks ordered medium well, and delivered well, well done. Server missed one steak order. Salmon was very good.
