The restaurant is situated in the historic Blennerhassett Hotel, the atmosphere is quite nice and the setting is lovely. But all I really care about is the food to be honest. So, my party of two, we shared a French Onion Soup and Lobster Mac & Cheese for starters. The soup was nice and cheesy enough from my tastes. The... More

We loved our dinner at Spat's. We were seated on the patio and it was wonderful. The food was excellent. It made for a very special evening with my family.

SPATS is the flagship restaurant in the Blennerhassett Hotel. Never a disappointing meal there, and always a great breakfast to start the day! From delicious pancakes to a seasonal pasta for lunch and a filet mignon for dinner, the food is always delicious! Presentation is lovely and an excellent wine list to compliment your choices! Recommended highly if traveling in... More

Enjoyed dinner on the patio and the Sunday Brunch during our stay at the hotel. Both were very good!

This restaurant was nice and had an upscale lounge feel. The waitstaff was friendly but the service was slow when the restaurant was full. I was there for a business conference and we were the first to be seated in the restaurant at lunch and somehow we got our food last. It took an hour. That being said the food... More

We stayed overnight at the Blennerhasset Hotel on our way back to Indiana from a trip to Pennsylvania. It was raining, so we decided to have dinner in the dining room at the Blennerhasset. I’m glad we did. We were seated at a comfortable table in the dining room near a young man playing a piano. The dining room is... More

Chef Rick is constantly serving the finest food in Parkersburg. Overall it's definitely four star cuisine, so when in the area don't miss Spats. The wine list is the areas best too! You can eat informally in the bar or more formal in the main dinning room. From beef to fish you have a wide selection of upscale and creative... More

I usually find myself here at lunchtime, and frankly I think I prefer their lunch menu to the dinner menu. Service is reasonable. Wine list is very good. Pricy, but no more so than the wine lists at other restaurants. Menu rotates seasonally. Ambiance is wonderful whether dining al fresco (particularly nice on warmer weekends when they have live jazz... More
