Food and service were great, but took 2 hours for dinner and many menu items not available. Good choice if you have the time.

I totally disagree with the negative review. This is a beautiful atmosphere with live jazz on weekends. It is not loud and full of the college crowd. The two chris' are exceptional waiters. The food is always fresh and has creative specials. Cant wait to go back......love the veal chop dinner!!

This was the worst Italian food i ever ate. They charge for everything. The bottle of water cost more than a draft beer. The bread and salads were not included in the price of the meal and they were the best things about the meal. The service was annoying and took a long time to get our food and they... More

I stopped by Stefano's on a Football weekend Friday. I had got into a lot of traffic and decided to eat something before heading to the rehab facility to see my husband. The hostess asked me if I had a reservation, which I didn't. As i was about to walk out, a waiter came out and said I could sit... More

Took my wife there for her birthday ordered the steak medium, steak came almost burnt. Waiter never ask how we like the steak. We were ask by the employee cleaning table how the dinner wass told home about the burnt steak he said he would tell chef. No one came out of the kitchen to check on our concern.

This is a wonderful place to make a good impression. The service was 1st class. The food was good. We compared to olivarios on another nite. Both great, just depends on how formal you need.

Three of us ate dinner here last night, prior to attending the Texas/WVU football game. Because we had to eat early (5 pm), the restaurant was almost deserted. We loved the dim lighting (but there was task lighting so that reading the menu was very easy), the Murano glass bowls affixed to the walls, the eclectic ceiling lighting, the black... More

The atmosphere is very dark, but nice. The server was attentive, but read the specials. I was quite surprised that the porterhouse special was $55 so I opted for the osso bucco which was good. As we dined, the place filled up and made the sounds from the bowling alley less obvious.

One of two better known Italian restaurants by WVU campus (the other is Oliverio's Ristorante), Stefano's looks more elegant an expensive, is warm and cozy, has great service, and offers some fine dishes. But Stefano's is actually also on the expensive side. We ordered a home made soup, in smaller portion, with cream and crab meat, an Orecchiette pasta and... More

Excellent food. A bit on the pricier side but never disappoints. Definitly try the Meatball appetizer
