A nice little restaurant. Clean, not fancy, not a chain. Good food for the money, handmade guacamole, great burgers, good Mexican fare and a great variety of other choices. Good beer selection. Not fancy, but affordable. Large burgers with whatever toppings yoU like. Definitely a return trip is in order and it's easy on the wallet.

This is a medium sized facility that specializes in Mexican fare, but has other items as well. The decor is funky eclectic. It is clean, not fancy. Spouse had a garden quesadilla, and I had an excellent burger done over a hickory fire-- cooked just right. Salsa is not free ($1) but was not the runny tomato liquid with a... More

Catchy name, had to try them out on our drive through WV. No need to go back. I knew Moorfield wasn't going to be a mecca of Mexican food, and Stray Cat didn't disappoint. We were seated promptly, and quickly had our drinks. Then the waitress disappeared. I finally found her, bs-ing with the bar-keeper, and we were able to place... More

Favorites on the menu worth trying out are The Reuben Sandwich, Tijuana Wings, Cat fries with chedder jack and bacon (real pieces of bacon) and the chicken quesadilla. Atmosphere is a little loud with the bar being on the other side, the crowd tends to get a little wild as they have a pool table and a juke box that... More

My co-worker and I decided to try this place while in town. It's not strictly a Mexican place, more an American dinner with some Mexican thrown in. The first time we ate here, when I asked the waitress what they were known for she didn't have an answer. I should have left then. My thing, I think it was supposed... More

If the name of the place doesn't deter you, you'll be treated to mediocrity and poor service. The food is horrendous, even the simplest things. The interior is sort of interesting, which distracts you while you eat, so that's a plus, I suppose.

I've had better Mexican food at Taco Bell. Salad bar barely had salad. Place needs a good cleaning and remodel. More employees than customers.

For a place that is supposed to be a Mexican restaurant, the decor was more reminiscent of a sports bar except for the odd Mexican themed thing here and there. We were here on a weekend, right after they opened. We got the sampler appetizer, which is huge and could easily feed 4 people. It was very good. I got... More

I love the Stray Cat in Keyser and was really looking forward to having a meal there in Moorefield. The service was bad, the food was poor. the staff was more interested in socializing with each other than waiting on customers, they were not in the least helpful. They were serving "bad beer" from all the taps to the customers... More
