Sunday Lunch

We went in on Sunday for a late lunch. The food was pretty good (except the rice was a little crunchy and the shrimp was cooked until it was hard). There were 5 of us, it is a little pricey, but worth it. Our waitress Ash did pretty good, our chef Louis did a great job

Our server was wonderful & so was our food, but I couldn't help but over hear things. A few of the servers were behind the sushi bar and I overheard them discussing how they will never drink the meso soup anymore because they witnessed the sushi chef drink straight out of the ladle and then place the ladle back into the... The food here is amazing, especially the sushi. Their yum yum (white) sauce is to die for. Definitely a go to for a good meal. You'll never leave hungry.

Have been here with friends a number of times. Service and food have always been good and the Kobe cooks always put on quite a show. This place is not cheap, but if you want a relaxing fun night out, this is where my friends and I go.

Service, chef and food... all very (low) average. Kobe (anywhere) is usually good but this one, not so much. Small portions, poorly seasoned hibachi food, tiny salads and soup was too salty to eat. I rated average only because I didn't get stuck with any utensils or sick later. Seriously, go somewhere else for dinner.

Tried it out for first time. Waitress was attentive (our glasses were never empty). Had the salmon it was very good. Food was fresh, well seasoned and an overall good experience.

This has been a favorite of mine for years. However, on my previous visits I have noticed a declining quality of food and service. Today was the final straw. Upon arrival we were seated and our waitress came with soups and salads for the rest of the table. The waitress took our drink order. When she came back she slammed... More

My family and I average 2/3 trips a year to Kobe. WARNING! Do not go on mothers day, fathers day, or New Years eve. The food is good, but they never have enough help. We went NYE, with resv and expected to wait and were in no real hurry, but while waiting I would like to have a drink, while... More

I went with my family and it was a pretty standard Japanese Steakhouse experience. oooh, ahhhh Volcano... Living in the area, I know of several health violations at the location so I am not in any hurry to go back.

I eat at this restaurant every time i'm overnight in the area. Most times its above and beyond. However, this time it was just an average meal. It took a while to get our waitress for the drink order, the cook was slow bringing the food for prep, and drink refills had to be flagged down. Maybe it was just... More
