Food: Standard North American fare, some Mexican, better dessert selection at Ryan's Atmosphere: Much less noise and better ambiance at Ryan's Staff: Access to custom-cooking seems quicker with Golden Corral Clean: Floors, tables and buffet counters seem cleaner and tidier at Ryan's Taste-wise I feel Ryan's is much better but I will admit Golden Corral may have more overall food... Sometimes going to Ryan's is a pleasure ( when they have an excellent seafood selection, it's a geat value.). Other times it's a total disappointment, as when the eggs are cold, or the food has been sitting out too long. The service used to be excellent, but no longer. Do not expect to get anything from your server except a... More

Cost for 2 for dinner was almost $25.00 and the place was terrible. Service was non existent because the servers were busy standing in the corner socializing with each other. The buffet was half empty and Fried Chicken seemed to be the choice you had. I don't eat fried food. Mostly starches on the buffet and the salad bar needed... More

Dirty dishes. Dirty restaurant. Nasty food. Dirty bathrooms. I found a Band-Aid stuck to the side of an ice cream bowl. DISGUSTING! The most disappointing thing is it used to be good and we used to go there as a family all the time. Now it's just crap.

The food was good, nothing to write home about but our waitress was either new or didnt have alot of knowledge on the menu. Even asking simple questions about what beers they had on draught caused her to have to leave and go check.

A few of us went to Ryan's for dinner on Mother's Day, and supposedly, they were having a special buffet. Due to this "special" buffet, the price was increased. First, we had trouble finding a clean table. After finding a table we proceeded to the buffet. We had a difficult time finding anything worth eating. There were very few choices.... More

Me and my husband stop for breakfast Sunday morning at Ryan's, The food was great, the service was great, but when you have to eat and look up and watch two employee's hugging and kissing ,this is disgusting. No place should have husband and wife or girlfriend/boyfriend working same shift. We were not the only people complaining, one guy had... More

We've chosen this restaurant on the way through WV because of its name - steakhouse. Thought it would be a grill and steakhouse type of a restaurant. When my friend and I came inside we were pleasanly surprised that it had a buffet and the price was good. The restaurant looks very ordinary but again sometimes food has nothing to... More

Great selection of food. Salads, main entrees, grill to order steaks, the new grill they have, desserts. I love the crab salad. Not many places can make it without over doing it, Ryans is delish. I even pay to take some home!!!

We enjoyed our two-for meal...everyone was very accomodating! Just a short walk from the hotel which gave them a good recommendation.
