My wife and I actually showed up 15 min before they were supposed to open for dinner, but they seated us anyway. I had the stuffed pork chop, which was excellent. My wife raved about the quail! Excellent dinner, great staff. We'll be back...often. Loved it.

Started with the Caesar Salad and loved every bite... excellent house made dressing and croutons. Tried the Spaghettini and Sausage and knew that I would be coming back soon. The delicious tomato basil sauce could not have tasted any fresher. Although I didn't ask, I'm pretty sure that the sausage is home made. Fresh bread with olive oil accompanied the... More

This is a quant little place nestled in on the main drag in Martinsburg WV. The locals are very fortunate to have a place that serves quality Italian food like this. We hunt for Italian restaurants whenever we are away because we do not have any decent ones near where we live. This was a real treat to say the... More

Nine members of our extended family gathered at Casa Visone. I had the Porcini Ravioli with Sherry Cream Sauce and my wife the Veal Picatta. Both were superb. The server made sure that the two members of the party who wanted just pasta got what they hoped for. The food took a while to arrive, but that indicates to me... More

I traveled to Martinsburg for my uncles funeral. We wanted a quiet, good meal after a long day...as quiet as can be with a 5yrold in tow. I have traveled the world and studied Italian food extensively. This was the best Italian food I've EVER had in the US. The staff was very friendly and patient with my young nephew.... More

Here on business and in the mood for Italian, I took a chance on this place. And I am glad I did. The staff was very friendly and the food was amazing!

This place has authentic Italian food. Chef is from Florence and the menu, while small, list very good to excellent dishes prepared as you like. His red sauce is tasty and available in jars to take home. Especially recommend the penne and crab, the quail and the fettucini delisio. Decent wine selection and desserts will cap off a great "in... My first visit to Casa Visone was a very pleasant experience. Being new to the area, my husband and I were looking for a nice place to become our go-to place and thought this was it. Our second visit was little disappointing. Not as friendly and welcoming as our first visit, and the food wasn't as good. The third time... More

If you are ever in Martinsburg, WV and looking for a change from the usual franchise restaurant, try Casa Visone. It is a rather small, well-decorated (an entire wall is devoted to family photos) Italian restaurant owned by a husband and wife team. The husband, Francesco, just happens to be from Florence, Italy. All dishes are well-prepared especially the caesar... More

We tried this place while traveling through the area based on other reviews. Given the other places we had tried in the area this turned out to be one of the better choices. It appears to be a local favorite as we seemed to be the only tourists in the restaurant. It's a small place, The waiter was friendly and... More
