Our server was amazing. He knew everything there was to know about the restaurant location and the menu. Food was amazing and was all made in house. Lunch prices were very reasonable and I plan to go back for dinner. The portion size was about perfect. They even sell their red sauce canned to take home. The inside is nice.... More

First off, let me say that by Martinsburg and Eastern Panhandle standards this is a very nice restaurant. I say this comparing it to similar Italian places in the DC metro area where I live but I spend alot of time in the Martinsburg area and for up there this place is a gem. With that said let me get... Although small, Café Visone is a favorite. Food is always good but then I am an Italian fan. I don't care for Americanized chain Italian so this is a real treat. Staff is friendly.

My date brought me to this Italian restaurant in West Virginia. I lived in WV for 4 years and did not even know that this place existed. I ordered Salome con Crostini which was delightful but the Pork Chops w/sherry was not tender enough for me but it was still tasty and good. As for my partner he ordered the... More

My wife and I actually showed up 15 min before they were supposed to open for dinner, but they seated us anyway. I had the stuffed pork chop, which was excellent. My wife raved about the quail! Excellent dinner, great staff. We'll be back...often. Loved it.

Started with the Caesar Salad and loved every bite... excellent house made dressing and croutons. Tried the Spaghettini and Sausage and knew that I would be coming back soon. The delicious tomato basil sauce could not have tasted any fresher. Although I didn't ask, I'm pretty sure that the sausage is home made. Fresh bread with olive oil accompanied the... More

This is a quant little place nestled in on the main drag in Martinsburg WV. The locals are very fortunate to have a place that serves quality Italian food like this. We hunt for Italian restaurants whenever we are away because we do not have any decent ones near where we live. This was a real treat to say the... More

Nine members of our extended family gathered at Casa Visone. I had the Porcini Ravioli with Sherry Cream Sauce and my wife the Veal Picatta. Both were superb. The server made sure that the two members of the party who wanted just pasta got what they hoped for. The food took a while to arrive, but that indicates to me... More

I traveled to Martinsburg for my uncles funeral. We wanted a quiet, good meal after a long day...as quiet as can be with a 5yrold in tow. I have traveled the world and studied Italian food extensively. This was the best Italian food I've EVER had in the US. The staff was very friendly and patient with my young nephew.... More
