Great, homemade Italian food

Excellent food, decent prices and good portion sizes. We really enjoyed everything. The owner talked with us on our way out and thanked us for coming. Everything is made fresh and by hand, nothing out of a box.

Yes, there is a really good restaurant in Martinsburg that is Italian. La Trattoria provides great food at reasonable prices. The family that owns it runs this place and you can tell it, too. Real pride in what they do!! Just go! You will NOT be disappointed! Their specials are also good if the menu doesn't appeal.

All I can say is wow! I can't believe how good the food was! They make everything to order as well even using gluten-free pasta and removing and adding ingredients to a degree that was incomparable. Mom doesn't get to eat Italian often and tonight she feasted!

Yeah, it shocked me too. Very unassuming exterior next to a Comfort Inn hotel. Dated interior to match the look. But holy smokes, the food! Pre-dinner rolls are warm, yeasty, and delicious. Service is timely, exceptionally polite and pleasant, and as knowledgeable as any place I've been. Add to this that the entire shebang is family owned and operated and... More

LaTrattoria lives up to it's positive reviews. The interior is simple but homey. Everyone associated with the restaurant is friendly and polite. We were greeted by "someone" from the kitchen as we entered the door. While we had an assigned waiter, several of the staff came to check that we had everything that we needed....drinks, warm fesh bread, our entrees,... More

While it would be easy to miss this restaurant because of its location, do make the effort to seek it out! The food is delicious and try to save some space for dessert. The bread rolls are fresh and tasty and the tiramisu is excellent. Our original server was prompt and courteous, although after she slipped away, the service was... More

This restaurant is highly rated in TA, and is situated in a nondescript location, so I was a bit skeptical. Totally unwarranted on my part. My Frutti de Mare (clams, mussels, scallops, shrimp) in a blush sauce was as good as the "big city" versions. My wife had (and of course I tasted) a nicely spiced Penne Arrabiata which contained... What a pleasant surprise! My wife and I were passing through on I-81 this past week headed home to Boston and happened to stop in Martinsburg, WV for the night. We were excited when we saw an Italian restaurant next to the Comfort Inn which the very kind ladies at the West Virginia Welcome Center made our hotel reservation. From... More

Its all home made and served by the family. We stopped there for the first time and were greeted like regulars . However the star is the food, Best Chicken soup I have ever eaten. My wife's chicken and Broccoli Alfredo perfect, fresh yeast rolls with a topping of herb butter. Here on business but just might come back for... More
