I have been dining here since it opened, and appreciate the reliability of the food and almost always high quality and friendly service. Wine offerings are even more extensive than the menu, inspired by Steven's annual Mediterranean travel. Just ask. Original mosaic work and the owner's travel photography fill the walls of three small rooms. Menu is pricey and entirely... More

Everytime we go to stay at the Greenbrier - we always have dinner at Julian's. We have always enjoyed the food - and love chatting with Steve the owner. It may be a little noisy but it is a nice place with good food.

Julians is located in an old house near the center of Lewisburg. The rooms are nicely decorated but small. Menu was varied and the food was good but the seasoning was uninspired. The flavors were very muddied. The Greek salad was tasty and light, one order sufficient for two. Quality ingredients. Good selection of wines at about twice retail. My... More

Let me say first that the food is very good. We had salmon and a scallops dish. Of course, at their prices, it wouldn't kill them to include a small salad as part of the meal. The entree was served fairly quickly. Otherwise, the service left MUCH to be desired. The server didn't explain, until questioned, how the entrees would... More

This is my first post on Trip Advisor but I must say don't wast your time or money going to Julians. First of all, the service was horrible, the server did not know the menu and questions she answered were completely wrong. Our steak ordered medium was cooked well done, when it was pointed out the server argued with me... More

We were rushed! Dinner, including appetizers and dessert, took only one hour. Food was average.

The star of Lewisburg dining has always been the Greenbrier. While the food is definitely outstanding at the Greenbrier, it is also expensive. We love Julian's. I eat there with my parents every time I visit them and we agree the food is the best in town for the price. I think the meals are affordably priced and well-proportioned (I... More

On our visit's to West Virgina we always make a point of going to 'Juliens". The food is excellent and the service is personable and efficient. The owner, Stephen, is personable and entertaining and makes a point of welcoming his guests and ensuring that the meal and service meet his high standards. The menu is imaginative and well conceived. The... More

Julians has two small rooms creating a very romantic, intimate setting. Meals can get pricey especially with wine, but the food is delicious! Because the restaurant is small I highly recommend reservations. It isn't possible to wait for a table if they are booked for the night.
