Great food, not too expensive. The service was great. Make reservations. The place was crowded on a Tuesday night. Glad we picked this place!

The food is very good and presented in an attractive way. The bread comes in a clay flower pot and is very tasty.

We looked for a cheaper place to dine one night--other than the Greenbrier so we went to Lewisburg and found this restaurant. Menu not too pricey and varied. Meals, salads and sandwiches. We dined early and it got pretty crowded later. My husband ordered nice juicy hamburger which he enjoyed. I ordered eggplant parm. which I sent back because the... More

My husband and I only get to Lewisburg twice a year, but once again we had reservations at Food and Friends on a Friday night at six thirty. Glad we did, as the line gets long and there is not enough waiting space inside the restaurant if the weather is bad. Anyway, I had one of the best meals ever:... More

I was part of a group reservation for 6:30 last night. Our grop arrived at about 6:15 and we were kept waiting for tables until 7:00PM. Drink orders were taken at about 7:30 and the meal orders at about 8:00. We ate by 9:00 and were our by 10:00 PM. This was one of slowest restaurants that I have ever... More

Read all the good reviews on this site and thought we'd have a good dinner in a nice local palce. Food was just okay - somewhat disappointing. Portions were large and service was fine. I would go back and try it again when we are in Lewisburg but wouldn't make a special trip to eat here.

We left the idyllic confines of the Greenbrier, for a dinner out in Lewisburg. For a small town restaurant, the food was pretty good. But, for the quality I thought it was excessively expensive. Both of our steaks were overcooked. We pointed out that they were overdone. The waitress looked at them and said "They look bloody to me." I... More

Came here instead of spending a small fortune at the Greenbrier. Extensive menu and reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Would definitely come back!

The title pretty much says it all. Is the food going to surprise you with creativity? No. Look elsewhere for that. But if you want a delicious, uncomplicated meal at a fair price, this is it. The wife had a Cajun chicken alfredo dish for $13--deliciously creamy and just as you would expect--but enough for two meals. And it came... More
