This is like the main place in lewisburg.Everyone east here and recoommends it. It is pushing, tight corwded and the food so average or not great. I had terrible food and service. ONe of the worst meals I reacall ever in the area...and I have ahd over 40 years coming to the area.

Busy busy restaurant. We had lunch and it was very tasty. Lots of locals eat there, so you know that's a good sign.

ate here for lunch after being recommended by several friends back home. loved it! service was personable and friendly, and the lunch menu was very nicely priced. the soup of the day was roasted red pepper and was fantastic, as well as the house specialty lobster and crab salad, which i had in the melt. overall, one of my favorite... Food & Friends has one of the largest menus you will ever see at a fine restaurant, however what is different about this place is everthing is great. They have mastered their menu and no matter what you get you will receive an excellent meal. Lewisburg is truly lucky to have a restaurant such as this.

We tried Food and Friends on the recommendation of a local shopkeeper. We wanted to love it! We heard all the Food Network hype. But, sadly, it just wasn't special. The salads, while huge, were plain. The service, while friendly, was poor. The soup, while red, was not really tomato. It just wasn't very tasty and it was overpriced for... More

Loved the food. My favs are Mandarin Chicken, Chicken Almond Plate, and Chicken Salad Croissant. F&F also serves soup, salad, burgers, and dinner items. I have never been disappointed with my meal. Prices are okay.

Staying at Greenbrier with no dining options due to reduced winter hours and layoffs, we took a ten minute drive and found this jewel. We ordered chicken parmigiana and surf and turf. Total bill 47.00 or so. Too much food to finish. Great attentive service. Clean. No waiting at 6:30 pm. Free parking. Intimate atmosphere. Loved it!! Going again tonight!!

After walking through the quaint town of Lewisburg, my husband and I decided to try some of the local eateries. During early January is apparently off season, however for this little town, and we quickly realized that many of the other restuarants were not going to be for another week. We decided to try Food and Friends, and we ended... More

We spent the night in Lewisburg en route to a ski vacation in Snowshoe. All we expected from Lewisburg was a decent hotel in "the last bit of civilzation 'til you reach the resort" as we'd been told, and dinner at some chain restaurant. Lewisburg itself was a charming little town. This restaurant is in the quaint "downtown" area. Comfortable,... More

Good family restaurant; wait staff very good; atmosphere fun; food selection surprising for the area. Recommended by hotel staff.
