Good Food & Friendly Service

While staying nearby at the Greenbrier, we decided to venture over to Lewisburg to check out the shops and grab dinner. We liked the casual dining look of Food & Friends as we passed by and decided to give it a try. I got the bourbon salmon and my husband got the ribs - both were very good... read more

While working in Lewisburg recently I stopped for lunch at Food & Friends. What a wonderful hometown atmosphere! The ladies at the counter treat all who enter like a long time friend. Soup and sandwich choices abound with sandwiches thick enough to make Dagwood Bumstead happy! Try the roast beef on toasted wheat with all the trimmings and a sweet... More

I've been here a few times and the food is always great! The staff is also friendly. If you get a chance to dine here, try the Steak Oscar!

During our trips to the Greenbrier, we always make a side trip to Lewisburg to shop and eat. We have never had anything but really good meals at Food and Friends and the price for what you get is amazing. Really a good value.

I've eaten here a few times. I've always enjoyed my meal. It is busy during the evenings but for lunch and afternoons it is not very busy. I've never felt like I was given bad service but have only been as a couple and a single. The menu is unique and has a wide variety. On the way out the... More

Okay, so my wife and I go to the Greenbrier hotel for Valentine's Day. We spent an exorbitant amount of money on a so-so dinner at one of the "top notch" restaurants there. The next night we decided to try food and friends, it was recommended by a friend from our home town. This place was great, absolutely amazing. Four... More

Nice environment for chatting while waiting for food. Varied menu and reasonable prices. Food nicely prepared. I'll definately stop there for lunch the next time I'm in the area!

The food here was delicious!! I had pasta, it was like nothing I've ever had before. The menu has so many different selections and it is all for a great price! I would recommend this place to anyone and we will definitely be back.

Wide variety of food for lunch or dinner. Good service. Public parking lot across the street. Nice selection of chocolate at the checkout. It gets busy for dinner sometimes so reservations are not a bad idea.

The food is really good here and rightly so after the Food network review, but the service is terrible here! We waited 20 minutes for water, 30 minutes for a beverage, and over an hour for food and the server just didn't seem to care. But if your looking for a laid back dinner and aren't in a rush then...
