A great food & friends place in quaint Lewisburg West Virginia

The menu offers a large variety of dinner choices. Meat, Fish, Pasta all prepared with slightly different (southern) approaches. Our average dinner price was $26.00 w/o beverage. Beer $5; Wine $7. Service was efficient. The restaurant also offered chocolate delicacies (truffles, fudge, etc... read more

Really like this place. Solid traditional offerings and excellent Southern specialities, such as fried pickles. The bbq beef brisket was excellent, as were the fried oysters. The deserts looked really good -- and are in-house made -- but we just didn't have room.

The chicken salad (of the mayo sort... not chunks of chicken on lettuce) is very special and my first choice even after trying a number of other offerings. Service is always fast and efficient with the possible exception of refilling beverages. The menu states that any server will be available for your beverage refil requests, but that seems to translate... More

Went there for a quick lunch and had the mandarin chicken salad. It was good and the portion size is quite generous. Service is good and attentive!

The food at Food & Friends is consistently good. I only wish they would bring back more salad choices on their dinner menu. Miss having the options. If you are ever there for lunch don't miss Paige's chicken salad, it's the best I have ever had. Also, their steaks at dinner are a very good choice. If you are there... More

We dropped in on a rainy Saturday afternoon and were promptly seated, and with a great window street view. Service was good and friendly. We started with the crab dip which was good. My wife ordered the beef wrap with sweet potato fries and I had the turkey burger with onion rings. Overall, I felt it was a very good... More

I've been here several times and have yet to have a bad experience. The food is absolutely fantastic. The staff is very professional, kind, and helpful. There isn't anything negative I could say about Food and Friends - did I mention the food is amazing? Go there. You have to eat here if you plan on traveling to Lewisburg.

Food here is consistent and good. I've had everything from the salads to pasta to steak to trout and I've never been disappointed. My favorite is the crab dip appetizer. Food and friends is certainly not avant-garde like some restaurants in Lewisburg fancy themselves to be, but the food is always good and it's comforting to know you're going to... More
