I wish Tripadvisor had a 3.5 star, because that's what I'd really give The Livery, but I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt. It is clear they spent a lot of money in building the space and making a comfortable restaurant. I know one of the criticisms has been the price of items, but my wife and... More

The Livery is a newer dining treat in Lewisburg. The interior is warm woods and stone. The booths next to the rock wall were comfortable. The staff was welcoming and everyone did their job very well. We started with a simple wedge of lettuce decked with bleu cheese and this and that--some greenery to make us feel healthier. The grilled... More

Tried this new restaurant while in town to bike the Greenbrier Trail. Named for the original building located where the Livery Tavern is now. Beautifully crafted building with lots of room to sit outside offering an elevated view of Washington Street. Fresh, local food expertly prepared!! The service was excellent, especially our waiter! Kept us smiling!! Looking forward to dining... More

During the Lewisburg Literary Festival we stopped in The Livery for a light supper. Other restaurants we had visited before were way overcrowded, so we opted for this new place. Checking the menu outside, we entered to find no hostess to seat us. Since it was crowded and dark inside, my husband moved to the porch to check the seating.... More

My husband and I decided to give this new restaurant a try while celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary. We were greeted with a complimentary glass of champagne and excellent service throughout our meal. The decor is beautiful and the atmosphere is wonderful. I tried the grilled port0bello mushroom dish and it was amazing! My husband tried the veal and... More

We wanted to get off the Greenbrier property and found Lewisburg - cute town! The livery is new - opened in April. Very interesting menu. Chef is very creative and food is better than average. Fresh, local food with great layered flavors. Would recommend!!!

We've eaten at The Livery twice. The service is polite, and the atmosphere is very nice. The first time I had the quail. I love quail. Unfortunately I couldn't taste the quail because they had cooked it in duck fat. All I could taste was the fat (duck fat is tasty, but I wanted quail). We had prosecco with our... More

Lewisburg's newest restaurant, beautifully decorated with outstanding food. Quail stuffed with mushrooms, trout with a delightful sauce and since it is billed as a Steakhouse, steak to die for. Dessert selection was amazing, but the fresh berry and shortbread -- a cool, summery, delicious dessert and they have great coffee as well.
