When one of my favorite restaurants closed I was very upset because I always looked forward to visiting my vacation cabin knowing I was in for an excellent meal. Thank heavens for for The Livery Tavern as it has taken the old ones place and given me back that same excitement. The Livery has it all, Excellent Food, Service and... More

This restaurant is what we love, outstanding food, outstanding ambiance, outstanding service and much more. The portions are very generous so you need not spend a fortune to satisfy your hunger. Two sisters operate two separate restaurants about 4 blocks from each other, this one, and the equally wonderful Stellas. Both ladies are a delight to meet and their appreciation... More

I was joined by 2 locals...it was my first time here. One of the finest dinners that I have had in Lewisburg. Try the Caesar Salad and The Sportsman entree coupled with a nice Pinot Noir. 5 stars.

Elegant! Good food, local as much as they can. Creative, consistent and expensive for this area. If you are here and want one of the best meals available, this is your place!

Amazing service helped make the meal memorable and exceptional. Knowledgeable waiter gave helpful recommendations and suggestions for ordering and let us taste different wines and beers from their interesting wine/beer list. Really surprising find in small town. Had beef filet with peppercorn cream sauce which was perfect. Wonderful and distinctive caesar salad. Definitely a place for food lovers.

Stopped here after Bridge Day at the New River Gorge. This is an excellent place to eat. The pork chops were incredible. Great service to go along with the fabulous meal. We will definitely come here again!!

On a recent vacation to "The Greenbrier" the concierge recommended "The Livery" in Lewisburg. Arriving early, we strolled downtown which is very close to local shops. There are 3 local antique shops within walking distance. Our reservation was at 6, we did not find the restaurant crowded at that time but did notice as the evening progressed there were people... To be straightforward - we were not expecting a great meal during our trip through WV. Yes, that is likely snobbish to say, however, it's the truth. Much to our surprise the tiny little town of Lewisburg, WV not only gave us an excellent meal, but also a great few days. The Livery is a bit unassuming until you reach... More

We ate here our first night in town. I had the pasta special. Home made noodles and although a cheese base, relatively light. He had the salmon. Excellent. Beer and wine to match. The decor is lovely and our service was superb. On a nice night, try eating outside.
