Great fare and cheer

The best place in WV to stop for a proper pint and a belt of fine Irish Whiskey. Good atmosphere and a good stew last time I stopped.

My wife and I stopped by based on a recommendation from a friend. There was a guy playing music - Irish reels and jigs. He did a great job. The brew list was five pages plus of drafts and bottles. The food options were small but excellent. I had the corned beef sandwich and potato and leek soup. Both were... More

This narrow store, formerly the Princess Theater among other uses, was a fortunate outcome of the misfortune of hurricane damage in New Orleans. Some of the Irish Pub's founders moved to WV and created this welcoming venue for Irish and other live music, with a few featured items from Louisiana. I am not fond of the food here, so I... More

We had drinks here one night and dinner another. We really enjoyed the chance to play board games while the drank. Dinner was traditional Irish fare. Enjoyed that too. We had hoped for something better in the performer, but there was no cover charge, so what do you expect. Overall, very worthwhile experience both nights.

It was fun to stumble across an Irish bar whilst travelling but we were disappointed not to hear any Irish music at the time we were there. It was more Country and Western. Perhaps the scuffle that broke out that ended in the bar being closed and everyone being kicked out dampened what could have been a more enthusiastic review.... More

While the musicians in this establishment vary in quality, the beer list ranks high for its extensive selection. Concerts in the back room offer another entertainment dimension.

Realistic Irish Pub. Varied libations and very close to being in a real Irish pub. Middle of Lewisburg and convenient to the entire town.

What a surprise to find a good Irish Pub in Lewisburg, WV. Based on reviews, we had to try to corned beef hash, Irish stew and pepperoni bread. All were delicious and hearty. The bread was especially fresh. After the cook finished his work in the kitchen, he came out to play the mandolin and the accordion!

This does live up to its name as a Pub. It has a wide selection of Irish beers and not much else. In earlier years the Pub served palatable smoked Irish salmon, Shepherd's Pie and other tasty fare but the emphasis seems to be on the brews. Various Irish folk singers and musicians do drop in and entertain
