Jim's is a go-to spot for my family when we're in Huntington. There is always good food, great service, friendly people, and the prices are just right.

This is like time travel, but not to the good old days. There is no love for food in this place, the salad was floating in an unidentifiable white vinegar puddle made barely edible with sugar. The fried haddock was overcooked, once it came out of a truly scary batter, in which I again tasted something sugary. Green beans, you... More

Let me start by saying never been there for dinner and nor will I ever again. Went on Saturday night, waited 25 minutes, were seated w/out menus. Waitress was upset when we asked for menus. Were given the salads (which I guess they were running out of) because they were so small. Waitress never made eye contact and just passed... More

I love going to Jim's. I love their oil and vinegar salad dressing, amazing fish sandwich with equally amazing tartar sauce and coleslaw on the sandwich. It's so big so I take half this fish off, eat my sandwich then have more fish left to eat. I love their spaghetti too. Shaved ice is my favorite with my soda and... More

This family-owned restaurant has been around Huntington for a very long time. Lots of locals and tourists made for a crowd. Spaghetti was pretty good, rolls were yummy and the pie was great. The owner came around to greet us. Nice touch.

Jim's is a true landmark in Huntington, WV. It is famous for its spaghetti, fish, and strawberry pies. It has been in the same place for many, many years and has been family run and operated. It is also historic because John F. Kennedy visited there when he was campaigning. Great place for families and older folks.

The pull of this place has nothing to do with the quality of the food, it is about nostalgia. Be sure to come with cash because they do not take card. Also, avoid the ravioli, as it comes from frozen.

The fact that Jim's hasn't changed in years is one of the things that gives this restaurant its charm. Spaghetti is comfort food and the pie is fabulous if you get there before it runs out! Prices are unbelievably reasonable. It's right in downtown Huntington with on-street parking.

The place has an old diner feel inside. Hundreds of famous people have eaten there and the walls are covered with photographs to prove it. The food I'd ok but I wouldn't say great and the portions aren't that large. It is definitely a historical landmark for huntington though.

Nothing exceptional except the fact that its been around since the 30's. Steak was bland and nothing special but then again it only cost $13. Very small waiting area and once it got crowded people were stranding right along our table. The spaghetti looked decent but nobody in our party tried it. The apple pie was very good and definitely... More
