I've driven by hundreds of times but had never eaten there. My only regret is that I didn't try it sooner.
After visiting family in Huntington for over 70 years, I finally have found a decent place to eat! Oh, Savannah! A little pricey (especially for Huntington), but with service and food prep worthy of serious eating. A pleasant environment, very good service and excellent food. What more could one ask for?
The restaurant is in an old house, and the food is really good. The service was good, too. I had a business dinner there with six others, and each of us ordered different entrees, and everyone was pleased. If I return to the area, I will go back.
We haven't been to Savannah's for years, having been somewhat disappointed on our last visit, long ago. Tonight was perfection. Outstanding salmon and sea bass, perfectly prepared. Superb salads, cream of crab soup, and desserts (creme brulee, chocolate parfait, and lemon tart). Excellent service. We'll be regulars now.
Just passing thru and what a pleasant surprise. The food was delicious. The wine was fine. A great way to spend a rainy evening.
Perfect place for a special dinner. Attentive staff. Delicious meal. Restaurant was a little noisey due to a large party but otherwise a great meal.
