Excellent choices of salsa. Awesome Sunday brunch--Eggs Benedict to die for. However, they don't let you be creative. You have to order from the menu...can't order a burrito with lettuce, tomato, shredded cheese and sour cream.....have to order specific menu items. That's a big negative. However, the food is good....just not always able to get what I want.

The atmosphere and service are excellent and perhaps I just chose one of their dishes that they do not excel in or the chef was having an off-day but I don't feel the $19 check for two burritos and ice water is a good value either way. The General Tso burrito was not really fit to eat. There was so... More

I've eaten this type of hip Mexican in other cities-the Mad Mexx restaurants in Pittsburgh, for example-but didn't think Huntington would have one. Black Sheep is tasty, nouveau Mexican, with hip, pierced young people serving with edge and intelligence. You wouldn't have thought it in Huntington, but it appears that the college kids from Marshall University have dragged us into... More

We have dined at Black Sheep on several occasions. The pros: the menu and food combinations are delicious and unique. Portions are hearty and well priced. Sunday brunch was delicious. The atmosphere feels urban and young. Cons: the service was slow. It was difficult to get drink refills and the check. I had to ask other waiters for assistance. We... More

Unique and affordable. My absolute favorite is the smoked salmon tacos...light, refreshing, and different. The fried beet was great too. We have never had "bad" service here and we have been numerous times. I gave it a "very good" rating because of the variety. Just a suggestion - Bring back the Orzo salad for spring and summer.

Fun fusion food and great variety of flavors from the trout taco made with local fish, to the beet taco (first time I've seen a fried beet and it was delicious!), to the falafel burrito. Whatever mood you're in you can find some a dish to satisfy it. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is lively. Plus they have a... More

Black sheep clearly has a good thing going on in Huntington. The place was full on a monday night. I had the General Tso Tofu burrito. While the idea is without a doubt a killer one, I wanted a more dynamic ingredient profile from the burrito. The tortilla was un-toasted, and had more in common with a wrap than your... More

We found this bar and eatery by accident. It was a great friendly place. All their micro brews are created next door. The food was good but the staff helps to make you want to go back. If you are ever in charleston W Va stop by. you won't be sorry!!

Known for their brunch offerings, however I love the Brisket burrito & the Flock of Tacos anytime. The atmosphere is well College Campus, since its located right across for MU. So the Music can be a little loud, sometimes service is slow, however the prices are good, and the food is great custom made... no "Fresh from Sam's" specials here.... More
