We drove an hour out of our way to stop here. We got off to a rocky start- they didn't seem that busy but after getting a drink and waiting 25 minutes for someone to take our order, I just walked to the front. The server had come out to take the order of 2 other tables, and completely ignored... More

Wins the award for tacky. Fun place to visit. I had the "West Virginia Dog". It was so good, I decided to have another one just like. Large list of hotdogs available. Highly recommended!

The theme is good-natured and simple, while also being a welcoming environment! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items (considering there is about a billion different ways to get a hot dog!) I will definitely make this a must stop the next time I'm in town!

This is a must see/must do stop on any trip to the Huntington/Barboursville area. The food is great, the prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is a blast. There are also a lot of photo ops and the establishment is both family AND biker friendly.

Good food, seems to not be as popular now though. I think they need to stay open later since this is one thing that keeps me from going at times. In a college town, 6 pm is too early to close.

We stopped by for lunch earlier today...glad we did! Great dogs, fried mac & cheese and fried pickles! Funky decor, bluegrass music and a covered patio make this a really neat lunch experience. The only downside was waiting on the food (even though the wait was worth it). I recommend stopping by if you're in the area...

The atmosphere is just what the name of the restaurant is. hillbilly. there are tubs and out houses to sit in and eat. They will also sing a song for you if you ring the bell bu the register. Food is AMAZING ! Im really picky when it comes to hot dogs but I had the Buckyeye dog and it... More

Sorry for the title, but that's what first comes to mind. The hotdogs are very good, sides are pretty good -- fun place to take out-of-town guests but I'm not sure I'd return otherwise. Stewarts and Frostop have better hot dogs, drinks.

Was in eastern KY for work and made sure to stop by Huntington to check this place out. One of my most desired DDD places that I wanted to visit someday. VERY SLOW PACED and I'm from Chicago so it was tough to handle but the food was great and the staff was hilarious and very nice. So many choices... More

Get the Homewrecker! It is delicious and if you can, eat it in the bathtub or the outhouse! Super fun place, you won't be disappointed, try it!!
