Stopped here during a trip and this was on my food network list. I had the West Virginia Dog with mustard, onions, Cole slaw and chili. Honestly, there was nothing great about this dog. Tasted like a normal boiled hot dog.

Heard about this place via triple D so we decided to check out. It was near Marshal college which was a nice area. The hotdogs were good nothing spectacular we all enjoy or meals. We went when school was on break so it wasn't busy.

Most disappointing. Trip advisor took us to 3rd Avenue location where our Hillbilly hotdogs were barely warm and served on soggy buns. Fries and onion rings were fast food quality. Sweet tea was bitter. Obviously this was NOT the location featured on Diners, Dives and Drive Ins. The pictures weren't even the same. Waitress said another location was "down the... More

This is just a fun place when your in town. Tons of choices and they are all good. The place is kind of run down but hey, your in west virginia and thats part of the charm.

Stopped after reading other reviews. It is too unique not to stop in. The food was fresh, hot, and really good. The service was great too. Loved the decor and the banjo music as well!

Stopped by here for lunch with my family and we had hot dogs and onion rings w/drinks. It's a small place decorated to be "hillbilly" like including a spam flower arrangement on the table. It seemed to be clean and the food was good. Even better price was the icing on the cake! Would go back next time I'm wanting... More

While visiting Marshall, it was time for lunch and this little place came up. It was perfect, it was a hot dog joint and it had been featured on DIners, Drive-ins, and Dives. It did not disappoint. We loved the atmosphere and the food......a good fried hot dog can't be beat, especially with the right toppings. The root beer was... More

Fits WV stereo types perfectly. Ownership found the perfect mechanism with delapidated buildings and old school busses. Locals enjoy the joke and surprisingly good hot dogs. Venue has received lots of national TV coverage and celebrity visits.

This place was HYSTERICAL!!! Looks like a rundown shack in the middle of town. Things cover the walls that can only be described as Out-house sheik! Yes there was even an outhouse in the dining room, a bathtub table and some other lovely little places to rest your bones. The menu is photo copied and has a vast assortment of... More

An absolut must-do in Huntington, even better - if possible - to visit the original restaurant in Lesage, some miles north of town. Great style, just perfect dogs.
