The food was the quality I usually go out of town to find. I can't believe I didn't know about this. Get the beet salad. And oysters. Wish I had had room for dessert.

Although some may disagree, the 21 at the Frederick is by far the best eating experience in the City of Huntington. Mark Cross, the owner, provides a world-class dining experience. Set in the historic Frederick building, the ambience matches the food quality. It is the best place to have a fabulous meal before or after attending a presentation at the... More

I haven't had anything here I didn't love. This restaurant is set in an old historic hotel in downtown Huntington across from the also historic Keith Albee theatre. The location is beautiful and has great ambience. We arrived on time for our reservation and were seated immediately. Grilled bread is served to get your meal started. I ordered the muscles... More

Wow! The decor alone is to die for. The hotel where the restaurant is located has an interesting history. Now for the food. We had salmon, steak, and scallops. The salmon was to die for with a lightly browned crust on top, the steak perfect. The risotto and garlic mashed were excellent also. You must stop by and eat here!

Very good food & great service. We were in a party of 7 and everyone was very satisfied. Three people got the steak with a special cheese & LOVED it. Pomegranate martini's were good too.

21 at the Frederick features excellent meals in delightful surroundings with wonderful service. This time I had swordfish which was prepared wonderfully well and my wife had Mac and Cheese, which was especially tasty, better than at any other restaurant. At the other times I had the 8oz steak filet which was exceptionally tasty and prepared just right. This restaurant... More

Ok, well we didn't eat here yet, but place is so cool!! Found this place by accident and had some drinks. Bartender gave us tons of information about area as well as customers eating at the bar. Prices are upscale, but food sizes were huge!!

We were in town looking for a nice dinner and found it. I could ask for no better filet than what I was served. The best I'd had in a long time. The atmosphere is cozy and warm in an old historic hotel. The wine list was very complete and service prompt and cordial. Prices reasonable for the quality of... More

My partner and I started going to this restaurant when it first opened. The Frederick offers a superbly relaxing and appealing atmosphere in which to enjoy a protracted meal as a couple or with friends. The service is congenial and the mixed drinks are quite tasty. The food, while quite good, is unreliable. I usually order the same meal at... More

I found this place with friends following a few glasses of wine around the corner at "sip cafe". Just recently moved to the area and had been searching for decent restaurants that weren't part of a "franchise/chain". We gave it a try and although the decor is a little "tired" and in need of a facelift, I have to say... More
