We always make it a point to stop at Cathedral Cafe for breakfast on our way home from our annual trip to raft the New and/or Gauley River(s). Great food in a place with some actual character and charm makes for a great end to the weekend. The pancakes are a must!! But get the short-stack unless you can put... more

Really good food, fun atmosphere, but slow service. I had the banana walnut pancakes - short stack - and I could only eat one because they were so big! The rest of our party tried various items and they were all good. more

If Columbus had a cafe like this, I would camp out on the doorstep. Do not order a full stack of pancakes unless you skipped dinner the day before! Excellent food. During rafting season there may be a wait for breakfast. `Kid friendly. Sweet potato pancakes are great. Delicious,fresh baked carrot cake. more

Who would've guessed? In little Fayetteville, WV?
