I visit Elkins frequently and locals always rave about this place. There is often a wait for a table due to the popularity of this restaurant. I have given CJ Maggies the opportunity to change my mind, but after the third strike, this place is out of the rotation. While they have a huge menu, nothing we have ever ordered... More

We arrived here late as we had been walking around Elkins and lost track of time. Our day included a nearly 7 hour drive and we were ready to eat and pass out. Despite the late hour of our arrival we were greeted by an energetic host and treated by a sweet server. The facility is beautiful and decorated in... More

We went late at night so the place was mostly empty and they were not serving everything on the menu, but what we did get tasted very good. I would recommend to others.

It was recommended by our hotel so we chanced it. The young lady who waited on us was clueless! When we asked about Pig Wings as an appetizer, her explanation was they were like regular chicken wings. They were supposed to be barbecue. Then when we brought that to her attention, she said she had only served them once but... More

Food was reasonably good- kind of diner cooking- not exotic. Good for a quick meal and decorated with lots of local artifacts.

The food is always great. Huge portions which is sometimes unfortunate if you have no where to keep the leftovers. This year, the servers weren't the greatest, I understand a number were new but they weren't very well trained and left lots of unbussed tables.

Popped into this place while overnighting in Elkins. Can't think of anything really exceptional or terrible. Food was good, liked the casual atmosphere and decor. I would surely go back if ever in the area again.

This restaurant had great food and wonderful, fast service. Portions are very large. Cost was kind of high though. Family of four for just a burger and fries kind of lunch was around $70.00. Highly recommended for business trips where you're not picking up the tab. Will definitely go back for business or pleasure.

This restaurant is not for the faint of heart. Dishes are large and have bold flavors. Be warned that many entrees have a lot of grease (sometimes enough to make my stomach uneasy). Everything I've tried has been delicious, and they are not afraid to make their dishes a little spicy. Despite being an American restaurant, the menu is diverse,... More

We had some great food here, the portions are huge, we couldn't finish ours but what we did eat was very good indeed. The service was also good and fast, and the wait staff were eficient and friendly, we would go again if in the area.
