WOW!...so this is what authentic latin food tastes like!?!...we shared a surf and turf cachapa {steak and shrimp} and a shredded pork, cheese and pineapple quesadilla ...both were outstanding!...sides w/the cachapa were a tasty rice and a separate bowl of black beans and cheese...the quesadilla came w/your choice of soup or salad...we got squash soup and it was delicious as... This family run Latin restaurant has reasonable prices and an interesting menu. But, both the food and servers are inconsistent. We have eaten here four times, both when busy and as the sole table and want to love this interesting spot. A raucous back room suits college folk while the front room houses quiet dining. Because of slow service, incorrect... More

Authentic Venezuelan food, great local beers on tap plus a complete bar, servers are top notch, and the music is always first rate. The owners take great pride in pleasing their customers and it shows.

We found this on T.A. and decided we must try! Staff was very friendly and attentive. Menu was extensive. Three were in our party for lunch, we had a hard time choosing! We ordered a taco salad with beef, a chicken chimichanga and the arepa and an empanada combo. Our meals were out in a flash! The taco salad shell... More

The food was great, really nice flavors. However, the customer service could be improved a bit. A busy Sat. night seemed quite understaffed. Waited a long time for a table, even though there seemed to be a table available. That being said, the food made up for it. I would go back, but avoid a busy weekend night.

The restaurant was once a residential home. The front rooms provide about 8 tables of four. Any additional patrons need to wait or go to the rear bar room which is more of a simple man's cave. The menu is varied enough to sample different Latin foods. The local beer, porter, was outstanding. The food was well prepared, seasoned well... More

Everything we read suggested we needed to experience the cuisine here and we were not disappointed. There are Mexican choices as well for those less adventurous travelers (soft tacos, burritos, quesadillas, etc), but I wanted to go authentic and was not disappointed with the most popular lunch item- the pork cachapa. In fact, even my kids enjoyed sampling my meal!... More

I had blackened fish tacos with beans and rice, and they tasted great. The food was all tasty and the wait staff was attentive and very pleasant. This was the third time I've eaten here and I will be back!

A converted old home in historic downtown Elkins operated by a fantastic Veneuzuelan chef and her West Virginian husband. Out front, a Venezuelan restaurant with excellent, authentic Latin food. The cachapas are great. The Cuban and Venezuelan sandwiches too. In the back, a bar and music venue with probably the best assortment of craft beer in the area. Local brewery... More

We were travelling through Elkins and checked TripAdvisor for recommendations for restaurants and found this treasure. Walked over from our hotel through an interesting downtown to this quaint building converted into a multilevel restaurant and bar. Had no idea how large it was on the inside and in the back of the property. We had not tasted a couple of... More
