I enjoyed the surf and turf chapacha I got here. It had interesting and good flavors, especially when using the salsas they serve it with. They also have a good beer selection.

Came here to visit for Augusta and ate at el gran sabor. BEST FOOD I HAVE EVER ATE! Everything around was fabulous to the food, drinks, wait staff, and atmosphere. They also have live music on Wednesdays and Fridays. Definitely recommend this to anyone in the area.

For years, Elkins has been the traffic bottleneck we had to get through in order to get to either Snowshoe or points north (Canaan Valley, Seneca Rocks, Spruce Knob, etc.) Now, we have a reason to stop. Not only can we get delicious Venezuelan cuisine, but they carry beers from the newly opened Big Timber Brewery. The service was friendly,... More

Visited with hopes of an interesting and positive experience but left disappointed. Soup starters were initially served lukewarm so needed to be reheated. But, the taste was somewhat insipid and uninspired. A salad starter was dreadful, being limp and tasteless. Additional starters of cornmeal wrapped beef were a tasty success. The star was the tilapia judged as excellent. Steak fajitas... More

A surprise in the middle of West Virginia! Lots of waitstaff and even met the owner briefly. This food is the real deal, no nasty sticky rice or refried bean gruel. The tostones and the sauces are so good. The rice is fluffy and flavorful. My capachas were to die for. Get the chicken soup, flavorful, you won't be sorry.... More

We had dinner here after riding the scenic train in Elkins. I chose this restaurant because of it's high rating on Tripadvisor and was not disappointed. In fact, the food was delicious. The waiter's recommendations were spot on. The restaurant is in an old Elkins house and has original wood floors and is tastefully decorated. We will definitely stop here... More

Staff are really, really nice, and do whatever they can to give you options, and feel at home. The dishes are 100% AUTENTIC!!! my kids ate everything: empanadas, chiken soup, tostones,... More

Fine Venezuelan dining in downtown Elkins...who would ever guess. This place is terrific - food, service and ambiance all hit the spot. On a recent visit, fresh picked spring ramps were available for every dish for $1...incredibly inexpensive and very good.

Live Music every wed. and Fri night's nice relaxed atmosphere. You can check there website to see who is playing. The drink prices could be better but overall nice place to chill for the evening.
