We stumbled upon this great little restaurant/hotel/airport on our bicycles and will be back every time for breakfast!

My family and I visit the Canaan valley just went spring started... we are surprised that some locals are open. Amelia's was one of them, and the food is typical american food, noting special, except the desserts. We share the pineapple coconut dessert and it was really good. Good ambient and kids friendly. Reasonble prices. The service was fantastic, they... More

Very pleased to find this place when we arrived at this place late in the evening. We ate in the lounge at a table with several other people gathered around the Country Music Awards show on the TV. There was plenty of room in the lounge although the dining room had just closed. The menu was small and the prices... More

We like Amelia's (named for Erhart) for a late breakfast or lunch. Small and cozy atmosphere. Amelia's is about a mile off 32, and is worth the drive.

We heard about this restaurant at the Canaan Valley gas station from the clerk. She did not steer us wrong. It is of the main road a couple miles past Deerfield Village. The cinnamon roll, French Toast and omelet were very tasty. We shall return!!!!

Visited the Canaan/Timberline area a few weeks ago. Stopped at Amelia's for an early dinner Friday evening. We were first to arrive about 4:30, but it was getting busy as we left. It's become a regular place to go to when we are in Canaan. Waitress was attentive and food enjoyable. I always get the steak salad. It's on the... More

For years we passed by Amelia's without stopping and boy did we miss out. Amelia's does very well accommodating our party of 12. The spaghetti and meatballs and crab cakes are outstanding. The bread provided is a real crowd pleaser.

Nice place to go and get lunch. Staff was attentive and the food was good. You might even get to see a plane land on the runway.

Really good hot breakfast. Bacon tastes like it's apple-wood smoked, with thick slices. The breakfast potatoes were yummy, and our eggs were all perfect. Pancakes are large and fresh when you get them. The ham slice (option on the meat) was very tasty. I would definitely go back.

We stayed at the Fly in resort and found Amelia's to be very over priced. The breakfast was good but they only serve it on weekends. The woman in the hotel was very rude to us. I would recommend Big John's instead.
