Great cooked steak and homemade lasagna

Had a NY strip the cooked to our specification, the lasagna was homemade, the side salad was made with mixed greens, the fruit was good and not canned, the mashed potatoes were not hot. Overall meal was good.

We stopped here for breakfast on our first day in the area. The food was excellent and our server, Jessica, was extremely helpful. We are going back for breakfast tomorrow. We are here for a week so we will probably go several times during our stay.

We thought the food here was excellent and the setting provides a nice view where you can see the airport -small planes coming/going. The pan fried trout was delicious as was the homemade rolls. A little more expensive than we expected, but worth it.

We've been to the Canaan Valley many times, and one of our favorite places to eat has always been at the "resort"- great food and service, wonderful breakfast, friendly staff. The last time there we also stayed at the hotel a few nights. So it's dated a but but clean and comfortable. Very handy to all attractions. The whole area... More

I had the Club BLT this past Sunday. It was quite tasty and satisfying. I like the history of aviation atmosphere. I suggest they add things about General Chuck Yeager since he is a native West Virginian and quite famous in aviation history. George C. Bullwinkle E-mail: gcmooz@gmail.com

My family and I visit the Canaan valley just went spring started... we are surprised that some locals are open. Amelia's was one of them, and the food is typical american food, noting special, except the desserts. We share the pineapple coconut dessert and it was really good. Good ambient and kids friendly. Reasonble prices. The service was fantastic, they... More

Very pleased to find this place when we arrived at this place late in the evening. We ate in the lounge at a table with several other people gathered around the Country Music Awards show on the TV. There was plenty of room in the lounge although the dining room had just closed. The menu was small and the prices... More
