Save half of your Hellbender for later. A few weird ingredient combos and a few delicious, creative ones. Or just build your own. The cole slaw is excellent. Big mountain appetites require big burritos. Good beer choices too. Wood burning stove is a nice touch on freezing nights.

Hellbenders reminds us of some of the things we like about Mexico, like the food!! Also it has a fun, laid back, casual atmosphere with good service

These burritos are absolutely huge and also delicious. Don't bother getting a side. If you are ever up in the area skiing, just skip lunch at the mountain and eat here instead. Or, go here for dinner and carbo load. They also have a good beer selection, though no margaritas. One annoying thing is that they are militantly against splitting... More

Hellbenders definitely has a local flavor. When you enter, it seems much more bar than restaurant. It is small and has an intimate and local feel to it. The servers are very attentive, and the food is really quite good. One person in our group actually had only one degree of separation from our server, and they immediately recognized one... More

Good burritos, interesting flavors. You can get burritos in the classic style here, but you'll want to try some of their more adventurous offerings, too.

Hellbenders Burritos is not exactly Tex-Mex. Talk with the folks preparing the burritos, and tell them what you like. If you take the time to communicate your likes and dislikes, you shall enjoy the experience. Seems the folks who gave Hellbenders Burritos a negative rating might not have known what they were ordering.

Great selection of beers both on tap and bottled. Burritos are not your traditional style but their own unique kinds. They are huge and very good. Only problem was the wait, got there about 5:45 on a Saturday night and had to wait almost an hour for a table for 2. Was able to stand/sit at the bar while waiting... More

Hellbenders has very good burritos and excellent beer. We stuck with veggie options (I had a "Goofy Foot" which an employee at Whitegrass recommended). That particular burrito has veggies and marinated, sautéed tofu which was delicious. We heard that HB had excellent salsa and guacamole which they prepare themselves, so we had separate side orders. They were better than anything... More

Ridiculously large burritos for reasonable price. Vegetarian and vegan options available. The burritos weren't the BEST i've had, but they've come up with a lot of interesting, fun combinations that seem to appeal to many people's palates. Definitely draws a lot of teenagers. I'm 30 and felt super old in there. haha Great winter beer selection!

I've eaten here 3 times. Truly nothing to write home about. I wouldn't go so far as to say it's bad, but it's by no means great... merely okay at best. The atmosphere is fun. The service is good. The fish tank is, um... nasty.
