I have been to The Grille several times, I couldn't complain about one thing! I was skeptical at first. It's a dive...u could miss it if you weren't looking for it. When you walk through the door everything is very simple, the menu is wrote out on a white board two old box TVs r sitting in top if a... More

It would not be surprising if most prospecting patrons were intially turned away by the rather sinister facade of the Grill. Its steel door and high cut windows give an impression of a low-class dive bar. The dinning areas inside are sectioned off between a bar room and a dining room. The dining room is ringed with old cathod tube... More

Dave and family are always friendly. One of the few places we go where all 3 kids eat w/o complaint.

Today I was in Charleston getting my daughters haircut with my fiancé. While the cut was going on my fiancé said she was hungry and found this place on her phone. I decided to walk the two blocks to get some food for everyone. When I got in there I was immediately concerned. The counter had trash on it and... More

The grill is one of those places that serves comfort food and comfort atmosphere. If you like Navy Beans and cornbread, hot bologna sandwiches and meatloaf you will like the grill and fit right in. They have excellent hamburgers and you can get them rare which is a real joy for us that like them that way. It is a... More

Locally owned, I'm tired of chain restaurants. Great food, bar style menu, home cooked open kitchen. Nothing elaborate, but that's a good thing

Over priced greasy spoon with nothing going for it. It's in a questionable part of town, with no parking and over priced food and beer. Don't waste your time.

The Grille has some of the best burgers in town. The meat is never frozen, always fresh. Very good sweet tea. Just don't expect an ultra-clean and dressy atmosphere. In fact, a couple of times, the place has smelled like gas. But don't let that stop you from eating here, as it is very good food at a reasonable price.

The Grill got a new paint job recently, and it looks really good. My husband and I used to live in Charleston and this was one of our regular stops for sandwiches, hot dogs, wings, and home cooking. The menu lists the things they have daily, but they also have meals of the day and the staff can tell you... More

Typical "diner" food. A little over priced for what you get. Used to be a lot better, has gone downhill in recent years. It really needs a good cleaning.
