Dinner

Stopped in for dinner on a Friday night. The parking lot was totally packed, so I dropped the wife off at the door to put our name in for a table. I drove around the lot several times before a spot finally opened up. Upon entering the restaurant, I was surprised that my wife was waiting for me and... read more

We love the fried cod dinner on Friday evenings with biscuits and two sides - I usually choose the baked sweet potato and turnip greens!

Guess if you eat later in the evening the cooks are dosing off.... Talk about deep, deep fried shrimp and hush puppies! The fried okra was inedible. Fortunately the manager was great and comped our meal... I guess she knew her cooks weren't cutting it!

Me and two friends went Friday. We had a horrible waiter his name was Brian. He was rude and not helpful. I asked him what was the soup of the day and he said "all the soup is bad." The food took 45 minutes to get to us because he put our order in 15 minutes after we got there.... More

Little more difficult area to get off/on the Interstate but well worth the effort. Neat and clean with friendly staff and great home-cooked food. I always get the vegetable plate-dumplings can be a vegetable choice! My husband likes to be able to breakfast anytime of the day here.

Little slow in being seated, cook staff sent the wrong item, wait staff was good, so was food, just not what we ordered.

This was the worst experience I have ever had at any restaurant let alone Cracker Barrel which, has always been one of my favorite places to eat. They were out of all soups...ordered beans with greens...they brought it out informing me they did not have corn bread instead of letting me know, before bringing it to the table assuming it was okay..told... My husband and I travel extensively for business. Eating out enjoyably can be work. Cracker Barrel was quite enjoyable. I had pot roast, turnip greens and a sweet potato. My husband had a pork chop, okra and french fries. Of course, there were homemade biscuits! The food was terrific! Service was excellent! And atmosphere was enjoyable! Thanks, guys!

My experiences with Cracker Barrel have always been good until now. I ordered a salad, meatloaf, corn, and mashed potatoes.. The salad was good and fresh. The meatloaf tasted like it wasn't done and didn't have any seasoning in it.. The corn had a strange taste, and the mashed potatoes were close to lukewarm (closer to cold) and tasted old..... More

Being from Canada, we don't have cracker barrel however we have always see the ads. We checked it out and wow we were glad we did. The server was nice and pleasant with our young kids. While my wife and kids ordered from the lunch menu, I went for the breakfast items and I was not disappointed. Very good pancakes... More
