I feel I should disqualify myself from this review, because 1) I live in Chicago, where we have a huge Mexican community and two of the best Mexican restaurants in the US (Rick Bayless' Frontera Grill and Topolobampo. 2) I have travelled to Mexico over 10 times and know Mexican food beyond what passes for "Mexican" in the US. I... More

Just off exit 95 at MacCorkle - it's next to the Lowe's which you can see from the highway. I've eaten here 3 times recently on trips travelling through Charleston. Very good CHEAP mexican food in a new building. Main parking lot is behind the restaurant. Food is delicious and the salsa is excellent. Quick service too - you can... More

The food is really good and very affordable. It's been moved to a newly built location and is very clean and pleasantly decorated.

I used to eat at this restaurant a couple of times a week before I moved away from Charleston. Back then I knew the owners and their families and they were great. There is plenty of food and their cheese dip is the best!!!

Very good authentic Tex-Mex with superb service.... not formal, but they have big drinks and a nice patio area for summer dinning

Usually busy and deserves to be. This well-run restaurant offers very good food at incredibly low prices. Many choices on the menu, with several well-considered house specialties. Service is quite good: attentive and considerate. Food comes in considerable portions and most dinners cost less than $10 with a drink. Most importantly, people are relaxing and enjoying themselves as they eat.... More

This is a typical Mexican Place, Its o.k., it not as good as Rio in Nitro. The service was not that great, we had to keep asking for silver ware, drink refills etc... Staff was o.k., but not great. We had the cheese dip, Chicken Fjata's and casade'as. Took awhile to get to us, but was really good when it... More

Like the other reviews. Just a typical mex restaurant that you will find in a lot of towns. If you are staying it is a good place to eat.

Good, but typical Mexican food. Just be careful about using a debit card. I have had friends who have had issues with their debit cards being over-charged here.

We had good service and they are nice but I think the Salsa tasted like dish soap.
