Fun, Interesting Food, Great Service

On a suggestion from the Charleston Marriott me and my co-worker dined at Soho's. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant. The interior has exposed pipes and brick walls. It will remind you of a HUGH Loft. The service was excellent. My co-worker had a problem with her entree, but it was resolved... read more

I had heard mixed reviews about the place and put off going there until I changed jobs and started working a couple of blocks away. Tried it for lunch one day end keep going back both for lunch and dinner dates. Nice atmosphere, usually very good service. Best iced tea in town and I love everything I have tried there.

Great Italian food. You might see some Charleston celebrities or just run into old friends. If you love fresh mozzarella like I do, try the Caprese Salad or sandwich. Sit at the bar for attentive service!

Huge difference between this visit and a visit a couple of years ago. The manager was pleasant, seated us at an outdoor table, the drinks and food were absolutely delicious and the waitress was attentive and polite. I was having car trouble and was waiting on a tow truck and the other businesses had closed and I was extremely thirsty... More

My partner and I decided to give Soho another chance after a few mediocre meals there. It had been several months since we had eaten there and we were hoping for an improvement in Service and quality. Unfortunately we weren't able to try any food as we were ignored for 15 minutes. We were seated promptly, in the center of... More

Second time at this restaurant. . . not crowded. . .later in evening. Waiter "pushed" the entrees he preferred. I asked about the Chicken Cacciatore, and he said "not his favorite"-- but did not give specifics. I ordered it anyways. . . bad choice. Chicken Cacciatore-- in Italy or anywhere else-- is NOT a separated (and dried out) grilled hunk... More

We enjoyed the food but the service left us wondering. Although the restaurant was far from busy, we waited far too long to be approached by the wait staff. Once we placed our drink order, we waited again for a lengthy period and were finally told that they were out of that particular beer. Another wait. The waitress finally appeared... More

What a complete waste of time! We went there Saturday evening. The manager was offended we did not have a reservation and sat us in an awkwardly positioned table for 2. I asked if we could move to a vacant table for 2 next to the window and was told it was reserved, although during our torturous 2+ hour dinner... More

Sat evening St Patrick's weekend. The service was excellent and the food is fresh and I love to watch the chef's all dressed up in their attire. My brother Gary and sister my sister in law and my grandchildren.

Though the prices are a bit steep, the food and service are good. Not a place I'd visit often, but it's nice for a change from the routine chain italian restaurants in the area.
