4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2014 NEW

A year ago we planned a half-way overnite stop in Charleston on our way from Indiana to Raleigh, N.C. to visit family. I used tripadvisor to select a place for my husband and I to have a simple dinner, and Lola's caught my eye! We loved their pizza, goat cheese salad and nice variety of beers! So a couple weeks... You have to love a place where the musical playlist for dinner includes Robert Earl Connelly, Michael Jackson, and Hall & Oates in succession! So many beers to choose from and the portabello mushroom pizza was awesome.

I have not a fan of gourmet pizza but this place has changed my mind. I tried the most highly rated pizza place in SLC and was very disappointed but this is great pizza. It's been along time since I have been to a busier restaurant and I can see why this place is so busy. It was packed and... More

The pizza toppings are excellent. The crust doesn't match - soggy in the middle and even the edges are bland in the mouth. The much-recommended goat cheese salad didn't rise above mediocre either. The seared goat cheese was nice, but the greens were a straight-from-Kroger mix. The balsamic dressing was nice - not overly sweet - but nothing to rave... More

Even if you don't like pizza, you will love Lola's pizza! Everything from a classic pepperoni to spinach and feta, and everything in between. Salads? Heck yeah! You gotta try the pan seared goat cheese salad! Sangria? Best in town! We eat here at least once a week. Newly renovated outside area should there be a wait. Grab a drink,... More

I have dinner here as often as I can! I have been here sooo many times and I can't think of one single negative thing to post. Amazing food (mostly locally grown) and amzing service. Lola's is a MUST try!

Love this place. Atmosphere and food are amazing. Even my 7-year old prefers Lola's pizza over any of the chains. The flavor combinations are great and the salads are to die for

Pizza quality is inconsistent. The salads are really good. The sangria is some of the best I have ever had. Atmosphere is ok. I would go again, but not my favorite place.

It is a uphill a mountain, around the curves and into a little village. At the end is a lighted house the looks as if gnomes live within. Inside the people are friendly and it is a feel good atmosphere. There are drinks and wonderful pizza to be had. Take the journey, if you want to go of the path.

Had family in from out of town and decided to try it. Tried to make reservations ahead of time because it is a very long wait after 5, especially on Friday nights, but they don't take them. The 4 of us ordered salads which were fabulous. I had the best Sangria around! The pizza had a good flavor, but the... More
