Just about every time I go to West Virginia's famous New River gorge, usually for rock climbing, Pies and Pints is the place to go and enjoy some pizza. Be careful though, because many restaurants in the area are limited on time being that many close rather early. Thus, Pies and Pints may be quite busy. Fortunately, it isn't far... More

I had heard great things and decided I had to try it. Way more food than I could eat by myself so it ended up lasting for 2 meals. The beer selection is overwhelming but I ended up with a great IPA that my waiter suggested. The caesar salad was amazing with wonderful home made croutons. The pizza was just... More

Great food, had the black bean pizza, which was incredible plus tried some WV brews for a good evening. Plenty of on street parking. the staff was very enthusiastic about the place too, which helps.

Eaten @this location several times. Food is hit & miss sometimes good sometimes burnt, but never memorable tasty. Its too expensive for 1 mediocre experience. Go to the Aldelphia or the Recovery food is better more reliably good. Fyi food sucks in downtown Charleston scene b & o taxes are way to high, small biz can't survive good restaurants operate... We ate here a few times when we were in town. Super friendly service. Delicious pizza and salads. Great beer on tap. Kids were welcome and felt comfortable. We could even sit outside with our dog!

I've been there many times. If you go there during peak hours, except to wait, but not long. The have smallish building, a cozy setting at most of the tables. I can't suggest one food item over another, it's all good. Lots of various beers to choice from too. The prices are mid ranged, for this type of restaurant. The... More

Pies & Pints is a very contemporary atmosphere with outstanding pizza's, wings, nachos, and such. The Pork Nachos is AMAZING, as are the Sriracha Lime Wings! I have NEVER had a bad meal here and highly recommend it to anyone wanting an awesome lunch or dinner. Located on historical Capitol Street in Charleston, there is plenty to see and other... More

Pizzas are usually good.... Just a pity the young servers play music what they like and not what the average 30-50 year old would like to hear. Three rap-songs after each other at a high volume and somebody in the kitchen rapping along !

Don't get me wrong, the food at this joint is excellent, but the menu items are a little too expensive for my taste. I can go to just about any other well-known pizza chain in the area and get more bang for my buck.
