Had a nice lunch there last week. Food was good as usual. Service was a little slow also as usual. Parking is OK early but gets tight around noon.
I have to say, while driving by the establishment I thought it to be no more than a deli from the outside but the true treasure was found inside. A small place with a lot of character! The wine menu was good, the food was awesome and the desert was just what I needed. I plan on returning to this... More
Don't let the outside appearance dissuade you from visiting. Curious mix of deli in front and fine dining in back. Dinner started with Spanikopita dip, pita chips and smoked tomato relish and onion rings. Great! Salmon, crab stuffed tilapia and pappardelle. All among the best we've had. a small hidden gem in an upscale strip mall, who would have known, mixed drinks, coffees, baked goods, and the food just right. we had a vegetarian lasagna, one of the best Rubin's ever, a salmon sandwich and a gingerbread cookie wonderfully spicy and chewy. this place is not to be missed
We had breakfast a couple of weeks ago and absolutely fell in love with the cafe, the neighborhood, and the food. You will be well rewarded to wind your way up the hill because everything the other reviewers have written is absolutely true.

We were very impressed with the quality of the food and the presentation. Our server was friendly and helpful. We especially liked the fact that we were not rushed. Don't let the name "Market" scare you... More

This has a different vibe compared to most of the restaurants I've been to or seen in Charleston because it isn't a chain and it has the personality of what you would find in... More
We had the seafood risotto and scallops, outstanding. Looks are deceiving, food surpassed our great expectation. It's our favorite charleston restaurant now, for the caliber of the food

He was very knowledgeable about the menu and willing to answer all our questions. The food, though, was really not worth the high price. That isn't to say it was bad, but when you pay $60 for... More
