Wow! What a gem we discovered in the mountains of Charleston, WV! Fabulous food and friendly service. Try the spanakopita dip and the Cuban sandwich!

We were looking for a new place for lunch on our recent Charleston stopover and decided to give this spot a try. The owners rejoinders to reviews that appeared to be suspect at best were a major reason why we selected this interesting cafe. The menu was to our taste and the chef gifted. We basically built a Middle East... More

My recent trip included my wife, daughter and 3 year old granddaughter. The café was busy with the lunch crowd mostly small groups of two or three people engaged in talking and eating. The servers were quick, polite and efficient noting our need for speed with the little one. The lunch menu was broad with something for small and large... More

One of Charleston's best lunch spots. Their offerings are unique and always include a special and a choice of soups. If the special doesn't speak to me, I usually get the Mediterranean Wrap. They offer excellent side dishes, too, like a Three-Bean Salad with chick peas, kidney beans, and black beans. Alison and Tasha and the rest of the staff... More

Server forgot appetizer. Server had to bus tables. Not enough help. Took over an hour to get anything to eat. When food came it was cold and not good. Very disappointed.

Steve Marcus, As a small business owner, I do appreciate your feedback from your recent experience at my restaurant, as it helps to improve future customer experiences. fabulous appetizers, fried polenta sticks were warm and silky on the inside and perfectly crisped. Same for the onion rings. No grease here! The sole florentine was also great. Returning next week

Terrible service and even worse management. We couldn't even get attention from the staff to get our bill. Left some money on the table and left. A waitress came outside and spoke with us and explained our waitress was new and she failed to enter 2 dinners for our party 6 for 30 minutes. Obviously our waitress realized her error... More

Dear Sandy Hayne, As a business owner for the past seven years, you are your party that dined in my establishment on Friday, December 26th, are a first. I have never had anyone order food and alcohol for an entire party of six, and leave without paying. Not only did I try to call the number that was left when... More
