My favorite place for lunch

The salads and soups are wonderful and fresh and the atmosphere is cheery! Dinners and brunches are good as well

fabulous appetizers, fried polenta sticks were warm and silky on the inside and perfectly crisped. Same for the onion rings. No grease here! The sole florentine was also great. Returning next week

Frequent this restaurant several times a week. Love the food, wait staff and management!close to home. A great gathering place for friends and family! Love the renovation! Very attractive and comfortable. Can come in by myself and feel very comfortable sitting at the bar.

Terrible service and even worse management. We couldn't even get attention from the staff to get our bill. Left some money on the table and left. A waitress came outside and spoke with us and explained our waitress was new and she failed to enter 2 dinners for our party 6 for 30 minutes. Obviously our waitress realized her error... More

Dear Sandy Hayne, As a business owner for the past seven years, you are your party that dined in my establishment on Friday, December 26th, are a first. I have never had anyone order food and alcohol for an entire party of six, and leave without paying. Not only did I try to call the number that was left when... More

The cafe has been recently renovated and this was our first time eating there. We stopped in for a quick lunch and were seated pretty quickly. We didn't realize they had stopped serving breakfast (their website hasn't been updated yet.) Our waitress was very nice but seemed a bit scattered (took a while to bring drinks, brought appetizers but no... More

My wife and I hit up the Market and Cafe during Charleston's Restaurant Week and they did a wonderful all around job for our experience. They wait staff is friendly and helpful and the food and adult drinks were some of the best we have had in the area. Highly recommended for a late lunch or early dinner.

I've been here several times, but went back recently when friends told me I had to check out their new bar. The place looks amazing! The interior has been completely remodeled and now has a cozy bar with TV's, new tables, and expanded seating. I sat at the bar and started with fried oysters and a martini. The oysters were... While shopping on Bridge Road, we decided to try somewhere different for lunch. I'd heard good things about this cafe, and they were all true! The location is very small and very cute. The menu had very interesting choices. We started with pimento cheese (served in an old-fashioned jelly jar) with flatbread crackers, $5. The cheese was a bit on... More

Having been to the South Hills Market many times for breakfast, and having been pleased with those experiences, I was not prepared to be disappointed with lunch there. The meals purchased by my friend and me were average, nothing special. The waitress seemed eager for us to finish our meals so the booth could be used by the next group... More
