Great

Great locally own restaurant!! Unique items to choose from but a few basic options for the picky eater afraid to try something new.

Varied menu selection, not the typical national chain offerings. Unusual pizzas, great chicken sandwich.

Three of us ate here by chance...had never heard of it and live/work in this city. It is open concept (including the grill - prep area) which makes it nice that you can watch and has two entrances. Clean. The Mango-Duck quesadilla (small plate) is superb. I had the filet mignon sliders -- three different toppings and couldn't decide which... More

Our family enjoyed a great lunch at the Vandalia Grille. The menu is so unique it took a long time to choose between the choices of salads, sandwiches, and burgers. We ended up sharing so we could get a great taste of everything, and it was all tasty. Our server paid great attention to us, and kept our drinks filled.... More

I liked this place, but after you get disrespected 4 times from a waitress... One can't like it anymore. Decent food, HORRIBLE service.

I hate to give a bad review, usually if I don't have anything nice to say I try not to say anything at all, but our experience here has to be the worst service I've ever had. I will say the food was good. Unfortunately the poor service will keep us from ever visiting again. We've been here three times... More

Restaurant recommended by hotel employee, seated ourselves. Greeted and seated and it went south from there. H20 took 15 min, waitress ran to the table yet ran away without listening. One of the entrees was not what was ordered, one was dry and overall food was mediocre. Walked up to the open air line to request olive oil for the... More

Was just okay. The sausage and peppers, I can say I have had better sauce from a jar. Lots of burgers. My salad sounded upscale but was just average. $45 for a mediocre lunch for 3 people. I won't return.

Food was yummy when we went. Staff was friendly and prompt. Would go back again if back in the Charleston area!
