The view looking at the river and the city beyond it is wonderful, and pretty during sunset especially. The service and food are top notch. The menu is what you expect at a upper end restaurant. So are the prices. But you get what you pay for, the best in the area.

I took my mother to Laury's for her birthday and it was great. Kip met us at the door and continued to see that we had a wonderful evening. Pan seared scallops to begin, table side Caesar salads and then roasted duck with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Oh my, everything was seasoned and prepared to perfection and Kip was there... More

The waitress made a fine Caesar salad at the table, and I followed with a strip steak with mushroom sauce. Super! An two glasses of the Cabernet!

We were so happy that we chose Laury's for our one and only dinner out on the town while attending a convention in Charleston. The food was simply outstanding from the appetizers to the desserts and coffee. The atmosphere and service was amazing as well. We will definately be back to dine again when we are in Charleston!

We eat at Laury's every opportunity we get. The food and service are always excellent. Their steaks are the best in Charleston. The wine list is very good, too. We love the atmosphere and always have great servers, especially Dan and Wayne.

Had dinner there with my Texas in-laws. The place was in immaculate shape, the service was very good and the food was outstanding especially the steaks. I also like the adjacent train station that adds an historic touch. I highly recommend this restaurant and also recommend that you make reservations for dinner.

Great customer service. Excellent French Onion soup.Went in originally for a Vodka Martini after arriving on the Amtrak from NYC. The Cocktail was just the way I enjoy.Had to come back and give the food a shot.I wasn't disappointed.

Every single time I go to this place, it gets better. Always ask for Wayne as our server and never disappointed. Oysters Rock, Goat Cheese Salad, Sea Bass... as good as it gets anywhere. Wife had a Salmon & Scallops special and it was top of the line. The service is excellent, the food is wonderful and the atmosphere is... More

This is a very classy restaurant. The food was very expensive but well worth it. Most of the steak dishes started at $35 and up. We showed up in jeans, sneakers and t-shirts. There is no dress code but we felt a little uncomfortable. The waiter was very attentive and helpful in suggesting meals. They prepare some of the items... More

We decided to spend our anniversary last week at Laury's while visiting family. I am extremely picky about my restaurants and hard to please. It was very worth the money. The restaurant was very pretty and the staff was very welcoming and attentive. They knew it was our anniversary so they gave us a private table overlooking the river. They... More
