Great atmosphere with diner style food.

Really nice staff, very much a neighborhood 'spot'. The food is fine, basic diner type fare. But, the atmosphere is a lot of fun if you're looking for a warm, family style setting.

We weren't familiar with Charles Town--found this place in one of their visitor center guidebooks. Turned out to be an excellent choice for a quick lunch. The sandwiches we had were very good, fresh made French fries were very tasty. The service was quick and the staff was very friendly--what you would expect at a place called "Grandma's Diner"! We... Great little diner with seating at the counter if it is crowded. Breakfast was great, eggs, bacon, toast with butter on the side. Friendly, friendly staff. Good value. Can't wait to try it for lunch. Wish it was open later! Delicious home cooking!

Love this restaurant. Love being able to have breakfast anytime as well as the great comfort foods such as chicken fried steaks to other items such as taco salads. This is always a favorite for my family.

Friendly little storefront restaurant with all- day breakfast and pies that the locals call ahead for to take to their own grandma's for holiday dinner!

Our party of six loved Grandma's Diner. This was just the atmosphere and food we were looking for on vacation and a visit to nearby Harper's Ferry. While we dined after the typical lunch time, ours was typical lunch fare with a homemade goodness -- burgers, hot dogs, salads, fries, etc. I would highly recommend this as an alternative to... I had high hopes when I stepped in but unfortunately it was just an average experience. I tried it again recently and the experience was the same.

Do not order the enchiladas, they are terrible! Chedder cheese is melted on top of it via the microwave which doesn't help the already strange taste/smell! The bathroom floor is falling in and it smells something awful in there! The people are friendly but that doesn't save the taste of the food.
