Truly enjoyed our meal as out of towners! I make it a point to not visit the same chains we have in our backyard, so to speak, and try locally owned places with chefs that have an investment - and we loved our experience!

Loved the old fashioned diner in the antique shop! They had many items to browse and were very friendly.

Great lunch specials. I had a bowl of chilli with a grilled cheese sandwich and it was really good and very filling. Need a good inexpensive lunch, stop by this lunch counter!

The atmosphere is kinda cool. You dine in a reuse shop. The food is homemade, simple and good. Soups are a good bet, breakfast is made in front of you while you watch. Read the paper chat a bit, shop a bit, have another coffee refill, relax this is near Mayberry like. Get some gossip or spread some.

If you want a real local experience, head down to the counter at Needful Things for breakfast. Located inside a second-hand thrift shop, you would expect to find a brekjfast and lunch counter but there it is. There are a few tables as well as the counter. The food is simple but good with good size portions. The staff is... More

Having eaten here many times over the last 15 years for both breakfast and lunch. I hadn't eaten here in about a year since I have been away but had lunch there a coupld of days ago. Exactly what you would expect from a lunch counter. Decent food at a reasonable price. Very friendly atmosphere.

Very affordable, great BLT sandwiches and the best ice tea in town! But most of all, I always feel welcome there. No matter how many customers they have, the wait staff always treats each person like a family member.

A couple of girlfriends and I stopped in for lunch, and it was very good. The ladies who waited on us were very friendly and the food was home-cooked. Taco salad, hot dogs and the lunch special were all devoured to the last morsel. A fun and quick place to have lunch before or after shopping in the antique/novelty shop... More
