Excellent food and service, an unexpected gem on our Harperse Ferry adventure. Avoid the crowds of tourists in Harpers Ferry, if you have a car drive a few miles down the road to Charles Town and eat at Dish. There were dishes that satisfied everyone in our group (from vegetarian to omnivore) and polite and helpful staff, plus delicious delicious... More

We went to Dish this evening to celebrate my Mother in Law's birthday. We were quickly seated, and our orders were promptly taken. I ordered blackened salmon and a cup of tomato bisque, the other half ordered chicken and a cup of beef stew, my father in law also ordered the chicken, and my grandmother in law and mother in... Great southern cuisine made classically and elegantly, vut you will pay for this fine experience. We came on a Saturday at 6 and we were sat immedeately. The menu had changed due to seasonal items but it was still a nice variety. It may be pricey but the quality was excellent. First try the grit cakes with bacon jam. AMAZING.... More

A great find in Charles Town WVa! The waitress, Leah, was great. She explained the offerings in a very articulate manner, even asking which bourbon for the Manhattan and gin for the Negroni. We split a salad of local pears with goat cheese in an almond crust with balsamic dressing-delicious. The blackened salmon had the right amount of heat and... More

My boyfriend and I sat on the patio for an early evening reservation. Our server, Leah, was exceptional. The food was amazing and the atmosphere made it all even better.

The décor and concept are more of what I'd expect to see in Frederick, Md (a major foodie destination). There is a dark wood bar near the front and tables in the back, with sort of a "city-reclaimed" kind of feel about the place. The food is made with fresh ingredients and each dish shows deliberate attention to detail. I've... More

This is a wonderful place in the heart of downtown Charles Town, WV. The food is always top notch and I always enjoy a beverage created by talented bartender. You can also bring your dog and sit out on the rear patio; which is always a nice option.

We came here since we were visiting Harper's Ferry. Decor and ambiance fit with an American bistro, but the food was too salty - both my buttermilk coated locally grown chicken, particularly the gravy, and the roasted Romaine salad.

I love dish. Elegant and interesting food in an upscale but casual environment. This is a rare find in an unexpected town. If you are in harpers ferry during the day, come here for dinner.

Everything was fresh and well prepared and the service was exceptionally FRIENDLY & GOOD! Our outside table with the gentle breeze, the moon coming out and the friendly voices of happy customers was a special treat. The portions were good and the prices very reasonable for the high quality you get. Excellent drafts and desserts, too. This was our first... More
