Who would think they could find a great Mediterranean restaurant in Charles Town WV. Well this is it. Great ambiance, very friendly and attentive service, awesome food with a large selection and incredible prices. This place is a winner and I will be back.

The mediterranean cafe is a nice night out in Charles Town. They start you off with a free bountiful appetizer platter featuring hummus, feta and olives. I really recommend the Mediterranean pasta, its very good. My dad loves the lamb meat kabobs.

Wife and I stopped in on a Saturday evening for dinner. We ordered wine, chicken and lamb with rice and a house salad. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly and everything was very fresh. The place is a bit different and I would call it eclectic but it worked. Although a bit odd we very much enjoyed the dining room,... More

Using the TA ratings, we decided to try the Mediterranean Cafe, and were taken aback by the menu announcing Persian, Lebanese, Italian, French, and Spanish cuisine. In my experience, this usually portends a very disappointing meal, but nothing could be further from the truth. As we perused this rather daunting menu, our server came over and helped us through the... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at the Mediterranean Café and glad we made reservations ahead of time. It is a fairly small casual restaurant and loaded with locals so we were fortunate to get a table. The menu is truly Mediterranean, the hummus was the best we have ever had by a long shot. Had the Coquilles Saint Jacque which... More

This restaurant was average at best but I think you could cook better at home. We got the French scallops and pasta dish and the chicken with sun dried tomatoes dish, both of which were overpriced and undercooked. The mint tea tasted like Lipton tea poured over a few mint leaf crumbs. We later got ill from the food.

Our experience at this eclectic restaurant was truly memorable. The owner greeted us with complimentary hummus and pita which was delicious. Our entrees were veal Parmesian, delicious with fresh tomato sauce and coquille St. Jacques over angel hair pasta which was creamy and flavorful. I would recommend this casual restaurant to anyone. I cannot wait to dine there again.
