Using the TA ratings, we decided to try the Mediterranean Cafe, and were taken aback by the menu announcing Persian, Lebanese, Italian, French, and Spanish cuisine. In my experience, this usually portends a very disappointing meal, but nothing could be further from the truth. As we perused this rather daunting menu, our server came over and helped us through the... More

Live music, great menu, great prices...this place is a winner! I would eat here again if I was in the area. The complimentary appetizers are wonderful!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at the Mediterranean Café and glad we made reservations ahead of time. It is a fairly small casual restaurant and loaded with locals so we were fortunate to get a table. The menu is truly Mediterranean, the hummus was the best we have ever had by a long shot. Had the Coquilles Saint Jacque which... More

This restaurant was average at best but I think you could cook better at home. We got the French scallops and pasta dish and the chicken with sun dried tomatoes dish, both of which were overpriced and undercooked. The mint tea tasted like Lipton tea poured over a few mint leaf crumbs. We later got ill from the food.

Our experience at this eclectic restaurant was truly memorable. The owner greeted us with complimentary hummus and pita which was delicious. Our entrees were veal Parmesian, delicious with fresh tomato sauce and coquille St. Jacques over angel hair pasta which was creamy and flavorful. I would recommend this casual restaurant to anyone. I cannot wait to dine there again.

Went here with my spouse after visiting Harper's Ferry. There was live music, the hummus and pita bread was fabulous. I highly recommend the Moroccan Mint Tea. It was some of the best tea I have ever had. My Spouse got the gyro and I got the lamb kabob. Both were very good and fresh. It doesn't seem like one... More

This restaurant was recommended to us, we tried it for the first time last night and now we can't wait to go back. It's a nice, relaxed atmosphere, friendly people, good value and delicious food. We had the lamb kabob and the chicken Marsala. The complimentary appetizer was very good as well.

The food was great. The restaurant itself is very relaxed. My husband, in his sport coat and I in my dress, were way overdressed! Most people in shorts or jeans. Service was also "relaxed" (sluggish) but cheerful, so who can get annoyed once you have a delicious plateful of hummus and bottle of wine! The setting: we drove passed it... More

My husband and I were given the recommendation of this restaurant by the Innkeepers of the B&B we stayed at. Neither of us are very adventurous when it comes to food, so we were a little leery that we would enjoy this type of cuisine, but we gave it a shot. BOY were we glad we did! The complimentary plate... More

This charming little place has excellent food! The chicken marsala was delicious, and the tiramisu is not to be missed. They brought a starter plate of pita triangles on a plate with housemade hummus and a tomato cucumber salad with balsamic vinegar that was fantastic. The service was friendly, prompt and attentive. It was a Friday and they had a... More
