More of a lunch than dinner restaurant. Its a little dark inside. The food is very good and homemade. Price is good.

Stopped in after work looking for someplace good to eat, when walking down the sidewalk people sitting on benches in front of buildings asking for money. As an owner i would remove the benches. Seated right away, only ones inside. Served right away, food was alright, building needs some work, it looks bad inside. i would not return just because... More

I stumbled onto CJ Maggies while in Buckhannon, and found it quirky and interesting. The décor is cluttered Americana, almost overwhelming, and with low booth "roofs", it seems almost claustrophobic. kind of a kitsch overload. The food is ok, the service is great. I had an issue with my meal (tortellini with tomatoes) and asked for a credit-the waitress did... More

Our group of 35 had a reservation and set price for our buffet meal. There room was on the third floor. Ok but they only assigned1 girl to handle us all. She worked so well. Two men put out our food. Good variety and plenty but the quality was only satisfactory. Problem arose when we received our bills. The agreed... More

A group of us went in on a Friday evening for dinner. We ordered two appetizers-fried green beans and fried zucchini. Our friends had been here before and said the amount of food you get is quite a bit, so each couple ordered one entree to share. Our waitress was Hillary and she was very pleasant, attentive and tolerant. The... More

Great casual dining with some delicious food. Booths very cramped, esp if you have elderly in your party. Decor very inspiring and unique. Location ideal on dowtown's main drag with street parking.

We were expecting really good home made style food and it was just average. Had the philly cheese steak sandwich and didn't think it had much flavor or was anything I would order again.
