After reading many favorable reviews about Lot 12 my son and I were anxious to try this "farm to fork" restaurant on our recent visit to BK. I ordered the grilled veggies with basmati rice dish. When it arrived, the only veggies were eggplant and squash. Very disappointing considering a variety of vegetables I was expecting. The rice was undercooked... More

For the price of the food I thought it was overrated. Food was OK, not great for the price. Nice fig appetizer but rissotto was dry and $20+ fish was so-so. For this price game needs to be raised.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Country Inn in Berkeley and, after having some mediocre food the first night, decided to try something a little more upscale. Lot 12 is in a beautiful old Victorian house on a hill near the center of town, and it has a stunning menu with mostly local ingredients. Probably the best of... More

This restaurant is one of the best I've eaten at. The service is awesome and the cozy environment is one of a kind. The best thing about this place is the food! Make sure you get the steak; its the best I've ever had.

My wife and I enjoyed our meals here. We shared the smoked fish appetizer as one of our courses and it was phenomenal especially the smoked bay scallops. I had the NY strip which was perfectly prepared as was my wife's duck. Service was extremely pleasant and efficient with great wine recommendations.

We ate in the bar. The bartender made our night so memorable. Truly a gem! He is part-time and leaving Berkeley Springs soon to reside in Morgantown. Damian, the owner came in and we talked. He is also the chef! The service, conversation, food were superb! We had a wonderful evening.

My husband and I were spending the weekend in Berkeley Springs and decided to check out this restaurant. It is a lovely old house on a hill off the main road through the town. We walked from our B&B and I am glad I wore flats because of the hill climb. Other than that - our server was the best,... More

The people are so friendly that not being able to provide a higher rating pains me: 1. I like converted homes, but the problem with this establishment is the noise factor--simple laughter from tables 20 feet away makes listening to someone directly across from you miserable. 2. The shared appetizer of what is billed as mushrooms and special potatoes is... More

My wife and I had a very good dinner here. The restaurant is in an old house somewhat removed from the busier part of Berkeley Springs, with seating inside or on the porch. We found the service to be excellent. We started with two specials: asparagus soup, which was very good, and oyster mushrooms, which were excellent. I had the... More
