Simply the best....

Have eaten at LOT 12 about thirty times. Never disappointed. This last weekend: starter of pork egg roll with barbecue sauce, home grown fried goat cheese with pears and an apricot vinaigrette. Palate cleanser: guava and ginger sorbet and for the main course, duck cassoulet with duck confit and sausage amongst other delights. As for the sweet- we inquired if... More

Not really a place that felt enjoyable . There was a lot to be desired . Conservative , more like a country club kind of atmosphere . I was not impressed with the food for the cost . Service did not meet a pleasant feel . Won't be going back next year .

After reading and hearing so many good things about this restaurant we were really excited to dine here during our visit to Bath (Berkeley Springs), but the evening started off poorly and went downhill from there. We arrived on time for our 8pm reservation only to be told that they did not have a table for us, and that the... More

We've been here multiple times. Reservations are needed. The food was great, but overpriced. Service is slow and the tables are very close together, so you can't have a private conversation.

My husband and I celebrated New Year's Eve at Lot 12 this year and as always when dining here, had a wonderful dinner. Lot 12 is an occasional treat for us - New Year's, Valentine's and so forth. The New Year's menu is Prix Fixe but there are several choices in each course. In addition, the Chef always whips up... More

I've dined at Lot 12 many times over the years. It's always been expensive but innovative food and great service. Recently, I went for a birthday dinner with a group of friends and was shocked by how bad the experience was. Service was extremely slow. The server couldn't answer basic questions regarding the menu and preparation of the food or... More

Travelers just cannot go wrong choosing Lot 12 as a "destination" for fine dining. Damian Heath is an artist in chef's clothing. My wife and I have eaten in fine dining restaurants all over this country, few, in any, are better than Lot 12.

My husband and I dedicate most of our special occasions and bring our out of town guests to Lot 12. We are both widely traveled, and even though Lot 12 is our "home town" eatery of choice, can honestly say Lot 12 is one of the best places we've dined, anywhere. Chef Damien uses locally sourced and often unique ingredients... More

We decided to eat here when we realized the house we rented was a block and a half from it. We called around 4:30pm and were able to get a 7pm same night reservation (the Friday night after Thanksgiving). The prices are a little surprising for WV, we live in DC and the prices here compete with some of the... More

Above and beyond our expectations! Every single thing we ate and drank was awesome. Crispy duck = fabulous; NY strip with blue cheese mashed potatoes best we have eaten in a while; pastrami and smoked salmon appetizer = unique and delicious. Definitely worthy of the accolades they have already received. Food here is definitely for foodies and the staff are... More
