Panorama at the Peak is made unique by our dedication to amazing local, organic New Appalachian cuisine on Capacon Mountain with views unlike any other!

We're a restaurant with a knockout view that's completely dedicated to the tradition of good, whole food. We work within our regional food systems and most of the farms that grow and supply our food are within a 65-mile radius of Panorama at the Peak. To us, it's simple - the fresher the food, the better it tastes! When we can't get it local, we buy USA organic. And if we can't get it local or organic? We don't serve it. Each item on our menu is made from whole, not processed, food and we know each ingredient by heart. Whether you're vegan, gluten-free, or allergic to certain foods, we can cheerfully accommodate you! Our menu is always changing, a reflection of what is freshest each day. Guest favorites include our signature Dad's Perfect Rueben, Pan Fried Trout, and crisp Kale Salad! It's Panorama's commitment to innovative cuisine that has awarded us a place on WV Executive's 15 favorite restaurants in the state and Slow Food DC's Snail of Approval. Of course, none of this would be possible without a thoughtful staff that is dedicated to fantastic service and an unforgettable experience for each guest.

Call today to make your reservation to enjoy a wonderful meal made from local, organic ingredients and accompanied by unbelievable views of the iconic Overlook in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia!

The view is great and the food --with a focus on local-- is delicious. I recommend brunch! The place is country cozy and the people are really friendly and attentive.

We had stopped in front of the Panorama to take in the view of the valley. The restaurant exterior is unassuming and it had a bikers are welcome sign, so I questioned the prices on the menu thinking they seemed too high. We had plans to eat at Lot 12 Public House for dinner and we decided to keep those... More

We're so glad that you had a good experience. You made some great selections! We're particularly gratified that Dad's Perfect Rueben suited you both. And, we're scrambling to find a few more pumpkins so can offer the Squash and Pumpkin a little bit longer. We hope you'll stop in again, next time you're in our area. More

If you are looking for hearty tasting food, good service and a pleasant atmosphere, stop here. Nestled in the mountains on the roadside, it is a gem. Next to the big fireplace is a chess table and a backgammon table made by the owners father decades ago. In the other end of the dining room is a matched set of... More

Besides the warm ambiance and gorgeous view the food hit the spot. Our meals were well prepared, nicely served. The staff were helpful in giving advice for more fall foliage views. The historical markers outside added further to the visit. My visiting friends enjoyed hearing the history of the old roadhouse and its growth. There were a lot of local... More

Comfortable dining room with a fantastic view of the mountains and valley below. Very responsive wait staff and never felt rushed; a nice relaxing environment after a long day in Berkley Springs. The pan fried trout with yellow seasoned sauce and traditional pot roast with a burgundy brown sauce and local vegetables were outstanding, and sold us on the place.... More

EdConaway, I'm so pleased you were able to have such a fantastic view of the valley when you stopped in to dine with us. It especially makes my day though, to hear that the service of my team was perfectly on point for you. Great choices getting the Pan-fried Trout and Pot Roast -- you really know what to order!... We made reservations so we could watch the sunset, because we were told that's what you do here. The sunset from the restaurant was nice, but needed more clouds for better color. Service was excellent and attentive. The soup and salads were ordered were good. The apple cobbler was bland.

Fantastic food and magnificent view. Our waitress, Michelle, was friendly and suggested food choices that were delicious and did not automatically suggest the most costly dishes, like happens at many places. The view of the Potomac River valley was spectacular. Live music by Larry was pleasant. Only drawback was the acoustics of the room made conversing difficult.
