This is a great local spot, generations have come to this popular pizzeria for great food. The back bar has live bands playing Southern Rock and country. All the locals go here, they have great pizza and friendly service. A great place to eat if visiting Beckley!

While visiting Beckley recently on a Friday night, I asked some family members to suggest a restaurant where we could enjoy a beer or glass of wine and also be entertained...this was the first suggestion. Upon arrival I could tell this property was a historical landmark and had been in business for quite awhile. I was right, now I know... More

First: You must come to Beckley, WV! Beautiful and exciting does not begin to describe what there is to do here. WHEN you come, you must do a meal at Calacino's Pizzaria at the foot of Maxwell Hill. It is the quintessential place if you want a super local restaurant . It is full of local lore, the staff is... More

We passed through Beckley WV on the way to Pittsburgh and noticed that the hotel key had Calacino's advertised on it. So, off we went hoping for a place with local atmosphere and good food. Both were satisfied. The restaurant had old pictures, newspaper clippings, etc. on the walls and table. Service was great and pizza was outstanding. We were... More

Calacino's Carolina Gold wings are great! The best in town, I believe! They also have great ribbon fries, fried pickles and garlic bread!

Our son has lived in Beckley for several years now and every time we visit we try to eat at Calacino's. We love the garlic twists and always get the Dominick. We try to sit in the main restaurant area as the bar area can get loud at times but we've never had a bad pizza here. I will say... More

The décor takes you back in time with pictures of that era hanging everywhere. Even the booths were from that time. Food was okay but nothing exceptional.

My mother remembered Calacino's from her younger days in the 1930s and 1940s. The first time I walked in there was today for lunch--sorry it took me so long. Décor: Lots and lots to look at. Regional sports memorabilia everywhere. You'll easily find tributes to your favorite local sports teams (but we couldn't find any golf references--sorry). We ate in... More

The food and the value at which you can get it at can hardly be beat. Great Food. Great Price. No matter what you order. We visited on Karoke night which they have every Tuesday. The music was loud enough to hear, but not loud enough to ruin conversation. The atmosphere was also terrific. I would love to go there... More

We went to the Tuesday night karaoke a few weeks ago and my eyes haven't quit ringing yet! The speakers were so loud you could not have a conversation over the music. We had a large group and there was a serious lack of help for the crowd that was there. It took quite a while to get our food... More
