We just ate at McBee's Pub. There was only us and another couple in the entire restaurant, but for a Thursday night maybe this is normal? My husband and I and our two kids ages 3 and 6 came here because we were staying in Beckley on our way back home from vacationing in SC. My husband loves IPA's and... More

McBee's is a real Irish Pub. Going there now is bittersweet, because the wonderful Dan Bickey, whose vision for Beckley created the Irish Pub, recently passed away. I have been there twice and I have always been happy with the food and even happier with the atmosphere. I went there with my son and we had a blast playing a... More

We just happened to find McBee's Irish Pub when driving through Beckley after a long day, and still had to make it to Morgantown. We were pleasantly surprised. Had good ribs, they were enough for my husband and I to split, and we liked the ambience of the restaurant.

McBee's is a beautiful restaurant and pub with lovely details like hard wood floors, exposed brick, a patio, and cozy lighting. The food is very good and there is a good beer selection. There is a stage for live music. It's a great place to watch your favorite local band!

Decided to stop for dinner on a Saturday night. Easy to locate, easy to park. Beautiful entry way and layout; the exposed brick and hard flooring was a neat combination. There is a stage and screen for live music, but we arrived before it started. Had a tall Guinness with half-rack of ribs, and Woodchuck Hard Cider with fish &... More

Stopped here with the family when attending the 2013 Chili Night in Beckley. Came in the first time just to have a beer before we started sampling chili. Was impressed that the bartender knew how to pour a Guiness! Came back after sampling to enjoy something other than chili. Had the bratwurst which was fantastic and as I am part... More

My wife and I have eaten at McBee's on a couple of occasions previously, and went there last nite with another couple for dinner. Located on Neville Street, there is only street parking. Lucky for us, we found a spot directly across from the restaurant, but it's clear that parking could be a problem. The tavern is located below street... More

Had the fish and chips. It was ok and thought the breading on the fish was a little tough. The Irish music was entertaining, the service friendly and efficient, and the prices reasonable.

Mcbees is a new Irish pub in uptown Beckley, WV. The decor is so beautiful. They offer a very romatic patio outside when the weather permits. They offer live music from time to time. A great place to hang out with friends or a special occasion.

We have been to McBee's a few times. Had the Irish Stew twice, very good! Had the fish and chips, not great. Shepherds Pie needs some work. Had the Lamb burger last time...excellent! The appetizers are just mediocre...typical bar apps, a little pricey for what you get. Good selections of beer. They have live music most weekends. The acoustics are... More
