We were looking for somewhere different to eat on our way to the beach and stumbled on this gem. Fantastic food and great service! We will definitely be back!

While passing through Beckley on the way to Pittsburgh my wife and I ate here. Very good food with homemade burger bun. They could capitalize on the name more with food names, statue, etc. but choose to keep it low key. Would eat there again for sure. Busy place so well regarded with the locals.

King Tut is a Beckley tradition. There is something comforting about eating in your car. Their food is cooked to order & it's great. Having a king burger on a homemade bun with all the trimmings is a wonderful tasting experience. Having any of their sandwiches with a twice baked potato covered in cheese is a really full meal. My mom remembers coming to King Tut Drive-In as a girl on the 1940's. My husband and I recently moved back to the area and come to King Tuts at least once a month. The drive-in stalls are always full, the runners are fast and friendly, and the food is delicious! They have a huge menu and daily specials. Don't... More

This place is a dying breed of drive-ins across America. The food is very good plus the time they have been in business and the people served speaks for itself. The hot dogs are in a one of a kind bun, and the fries are always good. We ordered a take out, and the food was hot and fresh. This... More

Generations of locals have frequented this true blue drive-in. If you've never been to one, you have to go. Back when we thought eating in our car was glamorous and before fast food was everywhere, King Tuts served all classes of locals. It hasn't changed much- the food is still homemade, and the car-hops are friendly and efficient. The pizza... More

The 'home made' bun that came with my cheeseburger was thick and gummy, it really detracted from what would otherwise have been a really good burger. The onion rings were ok but nothing special. The prices were reasonable and the service was good. Overall, I was not too impressed.

We're sorry you didn't like the hamburger bun. They are , indeed, homemade. We make a big batch of bread every weekend and use some of it for hamburger buns for the larger burgers. If you come by again and don't like something just let your server know and we'll happily replace the item. You can always request a commercial... More

Found this on Tripadvisor and wanted to try a local place on our way home from vacation. Definitely did not disappoint! The king cheeseburger was awesome and the homemade bun was superb! My son said the same of his steak sandwich. The giant stuffed potato was a huge hit also. The shakes were also raved about in our car. Service... More
